Quaint hotel right on the water. We left the door open and heard the crashing waves all night. It was great. The hotel was clean but outdated. The rooms were very large. If you're looking for upscale this isn't this. If you're looking for a unique place on the ocean in a small town it's perfect. Staff was very friendly... More

We happened upon this place while driving down the coast. It appeared to have great ocean views, so we stopped in. Our room ended up being a king, and the room location itself was GREAT! All of the patio areas off the hotel's rooms overlook the ocean in the distance and the Gualala river up close. Please note that there... More

To begin with, the check-in process was quite slow (even for having a large group) and the staff seemed to have difficulty with the process. One young lady walked out from behind the counter to go smoke a cigarette with her friends while some of us were waiting to check-in. Disappointing. The rooms all had beautiful ocean views with doors... More

We arrived to what looked like a beautiful Oceanview room but when we pulled back the bedding it was a stained in blood. When we called the front desk she was mortified and upgraded us to a suite which appeared lovely but upon further review the bed was uncomfortable, pillows were flat, the neighbors were noisy and we couldn't get... We stayed only one night but everything was perfect. Great views , very comfortable bed , and room was large and spotless. The Virginia room was suggested to us and it was awesome. But best of all was Ashley who went out of her why to be extra helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed here as part of a small group on a road trip. My wife went into our room first and then said "close your eyes as you walk in". I did and the first impression of the room and view was "wow". This place has a lot of potential but it was let down by a few things. The... More

The great...I LOVED the view..it is truly amazing..and peaceful. I had seagulls hanging on my large deck while I enjoyed my dinner...it was great! The not so great part...the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. My room was clean, than you for that. It was just tired. The cell service was spotty to non existent and the WIFI was... More

My wife and I were going to be in the area so we decided to stay at the Breakers Inn again. We stayed there many years ago and enjoyed our stay. Our arrival was great. We were several hours early, but they were able to accommodate us. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The disappointing part was the... More

We live only two hours from the coast. Yet it feels like we have traveled to another land, each time we visit the Mendocino Coast. We always find something new and interesting to do, like kayaking the Gualala River or walking the spectacular trails at Sea Ranch. Dinner at the nearby St. Orres Inn is a must treat. The Breakers... I just came back from there. Spent 3 days in San Francisco. I must say the view is second to NONE .. breathtaking in all words! You can hear the ocean waves and all is super quite and charming. The hotel is literally adjacent to main grocery store in Gualala in the heart of down town. The place definitely needs... More
