I have stayed at Serenisea cottage before and the Castle Rock house...both very nice. My family and I rented the Moonstar house, because it allowed pet's. The house was not what we expected..carpets were stained everywhere, bedding was so gross that we had to strip them and head to the Serenisea office to ask for new bedding...woman did not even...

We stayed at the Moonstar House sleeps 4 at $316.00 a night. YEAH!! $316.00 no kidding. We were disgusted when we saw the Pet Urine Stained carpets, 6" holes in the bedding quilts and bed pillows stained so yellow they should/ve been thrown out. When we reported it to the management office they gave us replacement bedding to change ourselves....

Beautiful rustic cabins on a cliff with a private hot tub that is shared, but private when in use. The hot tub is nestled on the edge of the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean with a private gate. The cabin we stayed in is retro decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Fireplace heated the cabin and wood is stacked...

These are rustic old cabins, so don't expect fluffy down comforters or other high-end hotel amenities. We stayed in cabin 5, which was plenty big for two. It has a small living room with a couch by the fire, a small kitchen with a full stove and small fridge, & a small bedroom and bath. I was concerned about cleanliness...

this is the worst place ever, don't waste your time. the cabins are old and yucky, furnished with old junk furniture, the bed was the worst, it sagged almost to the floor, the owner is a grumpy old man who kept staring at my boobs gross. the hot tub looked pretty dirty so we didnt go in it.

Serenisea was recommended to us as the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days. We had a booking for two nights at the Moonstar Cottage. Upon arrival we learned that there was a mix-up of our reservation (for which we had paid a deposit) and were told that we had to move to the Harbor House for the...

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Moonstar Cottage this week, and we loved it. No one was in the adjacent Moonstar House, so it was very quiet and perfect for relaxing. The deck is perched about 150 feet over a cove, with a perfect view. The 1-bedroom cottage is clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The exterior could use...

We have stayed at Serenisea Vacation homes several times. Magic House, Beach House, Vista Del Mar, Hawkins House and Saunders Reef to name some. We have not had a bad stay yet. We did check into a cottage on a bluff that the septic tank backed up, but were moved to a nice house with a great view, deck and...

The owner of Serenisea is an incompetent moron! First they got our house wrong when we arrived. The "Hawkins House" they tried to give us was not the quality that we paid for. It smelled like it had been closed up since the 1950's and the furniture was that old too. Even the guest book in the house has several...

This is a review I'm sorry to write, when it comes to honoring treasured memories. But, I'm happy to write it, too, because I'm hoping we may be the last people to get ripped off by this place. We'd been to Serenisea 26 years ago, in cabin #5, and had loved it all...the accommodations, the receptionist, the hot tub over...
