You definitely want a room on road side so you have a view of the harbor and ocean beyond. Staff very accommodating; room extremely clean. My only complaint would be that the pillows on the bed weren't great and the fireplace didn't really heat the room. These two would not preventing me from staying here again. Also note, there is...

Stayed one night at the Oceano Inn before a flight out to Singapore. The Inn is a separate building from the main hotel and does not have a covered area for loading and unloading baggage, which the main building has. This was a problem in the morning when it was pouring. The room is large and furnishings modern, but the...

My cousin from Medford, Oregon was visiting me and had never been to HMB, but had friends who said it was their favorite place ever to visit, so she was excited to visit. I wanted to show her a good time, so we came on February 12, stayed the night and left on the 13th. We had a wonderful time...

The Oceano Hotel is fancy. We had a spacious room with two televisions and a view out towards the harbor. Traveling in the winter assures better rates - we were lucky to be able to sit outside on our patio in-between rain storms. Parking is easy and the hotel is walking distance to many of the sites in the area....

The room was very nice with plenty of space including a mini living room area with fireplace and large tv. There was also a mini dining area with table, fridge, sink, and k-cup coffee maker. Bathroom was very large with a huge Jacuzzi-type bathtub. The balcony overlooked the bay and the boat docks. In the center of the heart of...

Half Moon Bay is about 30 minutes from SFO, and although you are greeted by the typical fishy odour of a seaside resort, you soon get used to it. The hotel is clean, freshly renovated with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortably appointed and well furnished. Our meeting room was spacious, well-lit and liberally provided with breakfasts, lunches and snacks...

We've stayed at the Oceano Hotel several times now, the hotel and rooms are absolutely gorgeous, ours had a fireplace and balcony and offer amazing views of the Halfmoon Bay Harbor. The Staff is always friendly and helpful. There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is romantic and cozy, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything went very smoothly with this hotel, checked in early- for free; the room was very nice; the bed was comfy; everything was clean; ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was great. The eggs benedict was wonderful! Great location- walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The only complaint I had which is not the hotels...

This hotel is charming and has excellent views. Our room was on the 3rd floor and overlooked the harbor and Mavericks Surfing location. It had a wonderful balcony to sit on and a fireplace in the room. My only negative was the bed was just too firm for me -- I like one that is soft and cozy -- but...

The hotel is overlooking Halfmoon Bay harbor and had an excellent view of everything from our 3rd floor room. The check in was easy and they allowed us to get in our room early, a big plus. The room was an upgraded plus with a large living room and fireplace, which we used. We normally stay a property south of...
