There was a lot to like about Zaballa House- it was clean and roomy and the bed was comfortable. $25 pet fee seemed a bit steep, but always grateful to have nice places to stay with my dog. But our second floor room while very...More
Very disappointed in our recent stay at Zaballa House!! The staff couldn't "find" our paid-for reservation when we arrived but said "luckily" they had a room for us. We were given room 9. (Informed us later they "found" our reservation.) Room was clean but uncared...More

We stayed in room 7 in the main house overlooking the street. It did not have an air conditioner. That said this is a coastal town and rarely gets hot enough for AC. We proped open a window to get fresh some air. We did have a nice gas fire place that we used. The main house is the original building and that for us is part of the charm of the place.
