We stayed here for a week while attending a workshop in the area. Although it is an older property, it is very well kept. The room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. There was a refrigerator in our room. Upon request, a microwave was brought up to our room.

Beautiful Spanish style lodge located in the heart of Half Moon Bay. The property is very well maintained and features charming fire places in select rooms. The lodge offers complimentary full service breakfast in the AM, including eggs, coffee, pancakes, muffins and more -

Very clean older hotel but kept up well. Beds are comfortable. A little pricey but acceptable. Location is south of town so you are not caught up with traffic. Double queen room has lots of space. Bathrooms show their age.

Rooms are large & have a nice balcony overlooking a golf course. Handicap room is quite accommodating. Very festive for a holiday stay. Even had a Christmas tree in our room. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to the quaint town of Half Moon Bay as well

Christmas tree in the room.
We have stayed at the Half Moon Bay Lodge for about 20 years and find it comfortable, clean and convenient. HMB has a good selection of restaurants and outdoor attractions, especially the shoreline parks. The hotel is mid range and about 30 years old. It is pre-ADA, so not all of the rooms are accessible. You could spend a lot more for an upscale hotel, but the Half Moon Bay Lodge provides a good cost-benefit value. Note: If you stay on the second floor there isn't an elevator, so you may want to consider a first floor room.

Excellent customer service; I suspect if you ask they would provide.

Is there a beach walking distance? Or anything walking distance?
As it is right on Highway 1, I don't think walking would be great. The beach is not far but I would drive or take a bike. Check out the distance on Google Maps. There are a number of lovely beaches around Half Moon Bay.

Are there coffee makers in the deluxe king rooms?
We have Keurig single-cup brewers in all of our rooms.

"If you are afraid of dogs, get an upstairs room. I opened my sliding door and another guest's dog walked into my room. OK with me."
"Some rooms in the back face the golf course."
"Ground floor."
"If you are sensitive to noise, be sure to book an upstairs room. Also, bring earplugs!"
