Our room was filthy. But the view was awesome. The bed was not great but I have stayed in a lot worse. Yes I would stay here again but will bring my own sheets and pillows. It was off season so they weren't really prepared. I'll have to try during the summer to see if it is better.

We made an impromptu visit to the Klamath River area, stopping in the small town of Happy Camp. After arriving in Happy Camp, several local folks we talked to recommended the Klamath River Resort Inn as a good place to stay & they were right! Not just good, this place is great. Located right on the river, every room has...

This summer we traveled along Highway 96 trying to reach our California coastal destination. We realized we had not timed our trip well and would need to get off the road as sunset was approaching and soon wild animals would be crossing over the road in the dark to drink from the Klamath River. Happy Camp was just ahead of...

Can't say enough about how lovely the location is and how accommodating the owner (John) is. He and his caretaker go out of their way to make each and every stay special. The rooms may be small but they are well appointed and comfortable. You can't beat the beauty of the place nor the outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, river rafting,...

I had the pleasure of staying for work. I came in late the first night here to check in and was shocked (nd delighted) to see a member of the Resort staff waiting for me in the middle of the night to check me in! Talk about incredible service! The view from the front door of my rustic room was...

We can't wait to go back! The owner John is welcoming and friendly. He offers rafting, kayaking and the best spot on the riverbank to just relax. There's a fire pit area down by the water. At the end of the resort there's a great area for grilling, horseshoes and volleyball. The comfortable rooms with attached kitchen are all facing...

I just wanted a place in Happy Camp to stay the night of June 30th, so I could do some gold prospecting the next day. I expected nothing more than a place to sleep for the night, but I got a lot more. Here are the things that I'll always remember: > When I arrived and asked where I could...

We stayed in a great 2-person cabin (#1 of 8) with a wonderful river view. We appreciated all the ammenities packed into the room. John, the new owner, is very personable and working to spruce up the property. I think we were lucky to have quiet neighbors as a connecting room was not well-insulated. We enjoyed our picnic dinner under...
