Pulled in for one night and as it was October the park was less than half full. Office seems to shut late afternoon and manager seemed anxious to leave when we were checking in. No full hookup and sani station was very tricky. Sites are varied in size and are basically a place to place your rig and nondescript. River...

We had sites H-1 through H-4. At first we did feel there were a bit exposed, right on the main road that every camper/RV'er has to drive down to get to their site. Bonus was the shade in the day and, honestly, once you get set up, the fire's going and drinks are flowing - who cares. You're outdoors, you're...

The park allows day use picnicking resulting in a very crowded atmosphere, both cars and people. During our stay the tent camping spilled over into the RV area adding to the crowded feel. There are only two showers in a portable shower facility for the entire campground. The campground is convenient to Healdsburg and the vineyards in the area--you pay...

We stayed 3 nights in a 5th wheel on the RV side in July - came in on a Saturday night and the place was packed - RV side not too bad but the tenting side was very crowded. Now having said that, everyone was friendly - just a bunch of extended families enjoying the river and the sun -...

Looked at a number of mixed reviews on AVRV & Campground, but took a chance and booked in a Saturday night camp site with electric. Arrived to find hundreds of folks packed into the campground. You could not see any grass between the tents, sunshades and cars (BTW, each person must have come in a seperate car...parked wall to wall...

We booked two night and extended our stay to three as the weather and location was very nice. We did not use the showers and bathrooms, although they were undergoing renovations of both. We stayed mid-week so the grounds were not full, but by Saturday morning there were many additional campers, both tents and RV's. They have a dump station...

Pleasant camping experience! Sites were clean and well landscaped. Many recent improvements. Electric and water at RV sites and dump station available. We stayed there for one night in a 30 foot travel trailer. We did not need to use the campgrounds restrooms or showers so have no review of that, but they looked nice from the outside.

The campground was ok, but there were so many tents and cars crammed in that it was very difficult to maneuver our fifth wheel. It was very over crowded and ! There is no place to park at check in so we were blocking traffic, and there was lots of it. Line ups at the showers were long after the...

This park has been recently remodeled to accommodate all sizes of RVs including Big Rigs. Sitting on the bank of the Russian River, you have a choice of open level sites or traditional shady lots. They also accept tents. Security is very good, it is quiet and each large site has a large table and lots of grass. If you...
