We had a thoroughly enjoyable three-night stay at Zinscape. The cottage is located in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley and is a quick drive to HWY 101 via Canyon Road. It really is an ideal home base for exploring Sonoma County and beyond. We can't wait to stay there again!

Our two-night stay at Zinscape was delightful. It seemed like an oasis of calm after a few hectic days in San Francisco. While Bruce's directions were exact, we weren't sure we were on the right road (which becomes a single track) until the sign appeared -- Zinscape is situated within a small enclave of homes nestled amongst Dry Creek vineyards.... We stayed 2 nghts in Sept enjoying the area wineries and attractions. The studio is very nice and well located. We did have trouble finding it however, as there is no sign, and the studio itself can't be seen from the road. We had to call the owner who directed us to the drive for the rental. Turns out we... Tucked between picturesque vineyards and gently rolling country roads, Zinscape is nothing short of a gem. Five years ago, my husband and I were honeymooned on the grounds and have counted it a privilege to make frequent return visits as we consider this to be the very best accommodations in the Dry Creek area. The owners and proprietors of the... More

My husband, adult daughter, and I stayed here for two nights while visiting area vineyards. It was the perfect choice for us as we did not want a generic hotel-type of feeling in the evenings after a busy day of tasting. The owner is a former landscape architect who knows how to create the sort of private outside oasis in... More

We stayed in the Guest Room for one night this past weekend and it was just wonderful. The hosts (Bruce + Isabella) are very friendly and accommodating. The Guest Room is perfect for two people for one night. We were able to walk to a few wineries, relax on the patio and take a short drive into town. It has... More

Perched at the edge of vineyards, panoramic views, we felt like we owned the place. Great places to walk, quiet roads, fun wineries all within an easy walk! The cottage is delightful, beautifully decorated, the bathroom is like being in a spa, little kitchen with everything we needed including breakfast foods and fresh croissants. Very spacious accommodations. We rarely saw... More

We stayed at Zinscape in late Sept. The cottage is a little hard to find, but once you find it, it is a hidden gem. The owners are very friendly and very laidback. You really dont see them when you are there. The cottage is well stocked with breakfast items (Eggs, juice, croissants, etc.). The cottage is very quiet and... More

Zinscape lived up to all of the reviews and then some. Our little cottage was perfect, sunny, comfortable in all ways. Lovely interior, with artworks and airy charm. All of the little extra touches were so appreciated. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked. The croisants were to remember always. To waken each morning to the wonderful "old vines" marching... I stayed at Zinscape for two nights in late August. The pictures on trip advisor and even on the website don't really do it justice. “There's only one Zinscape cottage, but there is a second guest room that we've used to accomodate another couple.”

“The cottage is lovely, very private and the view of the vineyard is fantastic, but it had a weird odor when we stayed there (cat, septic? we couldn't quite pinpoint it). The portable AC made it much more comfortable when we stayed as it was very hot. Without it a nap would not have been do-able. The soaking tub is incredible and very worth the time to fill. The guest room had no AC and it got pretty warm during the day (although we were not there much during the day). The fact that they do not provide top sheets for the beds is downright weird. We had to ask for them for both rooms, then remake the beds ourselves which was off-putting (even if they do wash the duvet cover between each guest it would be entirely too hot to use the down comforter in the summer. The towels were high quality, but stunk like they had been left in the washer for a week and left our skin smelling the same - yuck! BUT, everything else about this place is awesome. The location is stunning, the rooms nicely appointed, very relaxing location, the owner friendly... Great wine country location at a great price.”
