Delightful stay. Jerry and Harold cover every detail - from the breakfasts that change every morning(including local organic fruit), to their help in securing reservations (at the best tables, of course) in the local restaurants, to the nightly wine and cheese hour. It was a testament to their service when we met other guests who have been returning every year... More

This place is immaculately clean as well as beautiful. It’s a stones throw from downtown Healdsburg (less than a mile). Close to my favorite kinds of shops (antiques and collectibles) and near plenty of Sonoma County’s best restaurants and wineries. Want personalized, insider suggestions on where to go? Where to eat? What to order? Host Jerry Messina is ready to... More

We just got back from the most wonderful five days in the CA wine country at Bella Villa Messina. The B&B sits on a hilltop over-looking the beautiful countryside, vineyards and the charming town of Healdsburg. It's located at the hub of the Dry Creek Valley, the Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley which makes the villa a perfect home-base... More

Our room was spotless and well appointed. Each night we went to sleep with a cool breeze blowing in through the windows. Each morning we woke up to the aroma... More

Perfect location for wine tasting, golfing and dining. What a wonderful experience sitting outside on the back patio deck drinking wine, eating... More

This was our 5th stay, and it was just as wonderful as past ones. Jerry and Harold are very accommodating hosts, seeing to the needs of all guests and providing excellent advice about restaurants, wineries, etc. The daily cocktail hour is a great time to exchange stories with other guests. Breakfasts are out of this world: lots of fresh fruit... More

Whether you're from the city or visiting from outside the Bay area, the Bella Villa Messina is the perfect vacation destination to transport you to another world. The pictures posted to this site do not come close to illustrating the beauty of Harold and Jerry’s home—from the picturesque mountain views, the Italian ambience with worldly antiques and music floating out...
