Dina and I are creatures of habbit. So when I needed to go to for a business trip, we decided to add some hiking and booked the Pine Woods Resort once again. Since our last visit was so enjoyable, we had high expectations. We were not disappointed! These place and its team has something else: They love their guests. The...

We wanted to enjoy our stay. But the rooms and grounds are too rough. The rooms are clean but not comfortable. The bed was hard. The bed linens a bit thin. The bathroom floor was not sealed at the tub. A little too rough and little too uncomfortable.

Everything about my stay here was horrible. The room is dirty, old and smelly. The furniture is awful, hard, dirty and old. The bathroom is scary. The room was way overpriced. AND they over charged my credit card. I have tried many times to reach the only person who can handle the refund and can never reach her. This place...

We booked a reservation here and were scheduled to spend a night back in April on a business trip but due to cancellation of the business we rescheduled for May. In May there was a medical emergency that precluded that trip. In August we contacted the resort and spoke with the owner who graciously rescheduled us for Labor Day weekend...

We stayed one night the end of June 2015 at a quoted rate of $153.00/night. When we left early the next morning there was no staff in the office. We left the key at the office and continued our trip. A few days later we noticed that there were three charges of $153 for a total of $459 on our...

During May I took a quick break from thousands of Hollywood "meetings" with business millionaires. I started my trip out in Palm Springs but all my celebrity friends recommended the Pine Woods Resort and I could not resist any longer. Upon arriving the sweet lovely Teresa must have mistook me for a mouse because she brought me platter after platter...

Where do I begin... There was only one wash cloth for two people, the shower head did not work, the dust flew off the bedspread, there were lots of cobwebs all in the living room, there was a hole in the bathroom door. I didn't look too much further and just couldn't stay another night. This was certainly not was...

For $265, we got a double room with stained carpet, a barely-patched hole in the bathroom door, cobwebs (complete with spiders), no baseboards, icky furniture, and a paint job that looked like someone did it REALLY BADLY 20 years ago. The owner or manager with whom I had booked my reservation was conveniently out of town. The housekeeper told me...

We heard about this new resort, and decided to try it, between 2 business trips in LA and Arizona. From the moment we arrived, Theresa offered a "Welcome glass of Champagne". We already felt at home. We arrived before check in time, and they are very booked. Sarah rushed the cleaning process, and we relaxed at the charming pergola with...

Dirty. Furnished at yard sales. Hole burned in the bathroom door. We couldn't shower there. Don't be fooled by the bottle of Three-Buck-Chuck you're offered at check-in. Look at the room first. Try to sit on the sofa and check the grimy coffee table……..then refuse to check in and run. We were over-charged by $60.00 based on other reservations we...
