Took a last minute overnight trip to Idyllwild and was very pleased with our stay @ this B&B. Rodney greeted us and showed us our room, the Oak Tree Room. Very small but still had lots of charm and was very clean. The en suite bathroom had Aveeno products for our use, which I appreciated! We had dinner @ cafe...

Ian & Rodney are friendly & helpful innkeepers. The breakfast was tasty, nice juice, cloth napkins, etc. The pictures of the rooms on their website were taken before they were redecorated. The rooms are painted (no wallpaper anymore) & filled with antiques. Our upstairs room was tiny, but okay. The common area is filled with a collection of African figurines...

Please note that as of mid December 2016, the inn is under new ownership and management. We apologize for an disappointment in your experience with the prior ownership and management. Our team hopes you'll give us another try this season; we think you'll be pleasantly surprised by all the great improvements we're making, including reducing clutter, and removing some layers...

We just love this place...so much so in fact that we are getting married here in March! The innkeepers Ian and Rodney were so friendly and attentive to every detail. The inn is a delight... luxurious, yet cozy and relaxed at the same time. Breakfast was astoundingly good! Our room was clean, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We planned a San Diego weekend with no particular place to stay. My husband found Strawberry Creek B&B on line. With no reservations, we stopped in to see if there was a room available. We were shown two available rooms and selected the Summer room. The room was comfortable and clean. The common area had numerous comfortable sitting areas with...

The hosts were very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the easy, homelike atmosphere -- coffee/tea anytime, appetizers and sweets each evening, a nice library and living room area, hammocks outside for relaxing. Nice grounds and pathway down to Strawberry Creek. The breakfasts were FANTASTIC -- a gourmet feast, beautifully presented with ample portions. We loved it...

I was planning to stay in their cottage and surprise my wife for her birthday. I emailed them directly with some questions, then a week later after not hearing back from them, called them to reserve the cottage as time was ticking away. I spoke with their reservations line and they were unable to answer some specific questions. I did...

Our children gave us a gift card to Strawberry Creek Inn and we can't thank them enough. From the lovely and caring welcome by Ian and Rodney, to the charming decor of our room (San Jacinto) and the little extras like snacks in the main room, wi-fi and board games our stay couldn't have been more pleasant. On the downside,...

I must say I'm confused when other posters comment on the lack of friendliness of the innkeepers. We found Ian and Rodney to be very friendly and helpful. When I called to make a reservation I inquired about appetizers and snacks. Rodney said they were offered on the weekend. I guess he could hear the disappointment in my voice because...
