I can't really answer the question on Crime near the hotel, but what I will say is that I wouldn't have taken any kind of walk around the area after dark, and, as the hotel and where it's situated is concerned, it feels and looks undesirable. The grounds of where the hotel is situated looks very much like a Homeless Camp and I was convinced that some of the "Guests" were people living there. I would never consider returning there and the "Days Inn" company should definitely look at this hotel quickly as its reputation is being trashed
