Jackson Rancheria RV Park will be put down as a "must visit" on our travels through California. Next time we will spend two weeks in this area instead of one, there is a lot do.
Even though the pool/spa is closed because of COVID, we came in February and sitting in the spa was amazing. Really nice campground.
*Only minus is there was dog waste around our site we cleaned up. They should check for this and clean it up before customers check in. (Of course dog owners SHOULD be more responsible, but we don’t live in should land).
This property has it all!!! Picture perfect grounds, complete with nightly viewing of wild deer grazing on their manicured greens. You may visit a similar property, but nothing could possibly exceed the overall amenities of Jackson Rancheria. The drive up to the top of the hill from Highway 88 is simply beautiful. Everything is well kept and worth the trip. Hotel, casino, dining, hot tubs, and the nicest and friendliest staff of any facility I have ever visited. All this and the wonderful smell of wall to wall tall pine trees. Just the best, for the best. This resort has it all. Look forward to our next visit
Every time we return home we remark about good our stay was, and how soon we can get back. Even the people who run the shuttle service are top notch.
The casino is clean, and when we visited, the smoke was not to bad.
We would give then 10 stars if we could
Drive my RV through their car wash. It chemically burned my RV. $22,000.00 damage was done. Immediately got in touch with them. Filed a Tort/Claim. Denied my claim , basically called me a liar and the damage must have been done previously. Then told me they are a TRIBE and cannot be sued in state or federal court. I guess that means they are not responsible for anything. Pictures enclosed. Beware!
What a find this was - it is one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed in. In fact, the desk clerk told us they had just received the prestigious Good Sam "10-10-10" award which means they are one of the best RV parks in the entire nation. (Only about 10 parks in the USA have earned this award.)
Overall, this park is just lovely. It's located up on a hill with great views all around and is very quiet. The spaces are large with nice green lawns in between, although the trees are still young enough to not provide much shade. At the back of all the back-in spaces there is a wide expanse of lawn. All pads are concrete and there is 50 amp service plus good fast free wi-fi and of course cable TV. There is plenty of room for big rigs.
There are lots of walking trails all around the park, a nice large swimming pool, two spas, a big clubhouse, sparkling clean laundry, dog runs. They have a free 24-hour shuttle to the casino and buffet.
The only thing I'd count them down on is the entrance. You drive up a fairly steep hill and if it's busy, you'll need to park on the hill, so make sure your parking brake holds well.
They are very fussy about their septic system, so at check-in, you are given a bottle of their eco-friendly tank treatment which they ask that you use. Then, after all the paperwork is done, you drive to the dump station near the office, and the fellow dumps your tanks for you. Even if you tell them you've just dumped them that morning, they still do it.
The price for this nice park was only $36 per night, after our Good Sam discount. They also give AAA and AARP discounts, and do not charge extra for pets.
We're already planning to return :-)
