If you expect amenities of a major hotel chain then you will be disappointed and you will have missed the charm of this out of the way lovely spot. The rooms are dated but clean and the bed is comfortable. But more importantly, the pools are warm, healing, and discussion encouraged. The service is friendly and personable and down to...

Admittedly, Jacumba is a bit off the beaten path. It's not too far off, however, and this place is worth what distance it is. Right on the Main Street of Jacumba Hot Springs, you're in the heart of the action--of which there is exactly none and is some of the charm of the place. The hotel features a small restaurant...

The people that run this place are top notch at customer service. The food was really good, the drinks were great and at a reasonable price. Must get the bloody mary: It is really large with a pickle spear, a piece of bacon :) several olives, and a skewer with a few French fries and the tiniest cutest slider I've...

Jacumba Hot Springs has great mineral water pools and hot tub. The pools could be a little warmers but it was cold and windy out, so maybe on a warm day it would be perfect. The rooms are clean and comfy (and yes, they change the sheets after each customer stays there. The restaurant was had great food and service....

What a disaster, from top to bottom. The TV didn't work -- even though I carefully followed the printed instructions. The smoke alarm went off every time a little steam collected in the bathroom. Shrieking children dominated the warm pool area where adults were trying to relax. An obnoxious group of hardhats from a nearby solar-farm site drank and shouted...

We had a decent trip out there. Good getaway from San Diego if you're a local. I don't re one d it if you're a visitor, unless you've exhausted your to do list. The hot springs are nice, and you can use them for a day fee. Restaurant makes good drinks.

This was our second stop on our 2 month 3100 mile bicycle ride across the US. It is basically the only show in town. When we call and told them I was riding my bicycle cross country they offer us a special rate that was over 40% off the regular rate. The draw here is natural mineral spas and pools....

A stay at the Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel is a remembrance of a slower, gentler era. When Interstate-8 bypassed Jacumba, CA and other villages along State Hwy 80, their fortunes began to decline. Signs of economic struggles are evident throughout the area. The Hotel is frequently filled road maintenance crews or long-term local rentals, which makes overnight reservations mandatory. However...

Found this place by accident when looking at the map of our route. Stopped here for a night. Good drinks, wonderful food, comfortable bed, good price, amazing hot spring. Such a wonderful find. The hot springs definitely has a lot of sulphur in it but it makes you feel wonderful. Helped a lot with my knee pain. They also have...

I found this place by surfing the net and decided that the next time we visit California we'd make a stop here. Jacumba is just the sort of little town that seemingly escaped the ravages of wild development. Upon arrival check in took mere minutes and the staff was superb in every regard. We were pleased to learn Food and...
