I can't say enough about Hicksville. It is the most unique place I've ever stayed in any country I've ever visited. All of the trailers are decorated so differently and the creative, unique vibe really makes the whole experience. As you look around you'll see that no detail went unnoticed...down to the Hicksville post cards that they give you and... More

Everything was spectacular. Just wish we could stay longer. One night wasn't enough. You can bring food to eat / prepare there. My kids had a blast. Between the pool, mini golf, library, bocce ball and smores our time went by fast. Nearby Joshua tree is amazing as well as Purifoys outdoor art installation.

This is a super cute fun place to stay...not so much for kids though please! The crowd is typically all adult party types that are going to Pioneertown for a show. Free jukebox plays till 11pm by the pool, pool is kept around 90ish, you just close the cover when done using. Hot tub doesn't open till 6pm and closes... More

I rented the Peewee and the Pony for one night for myself and my 2 grandkids. It was so much fun and sooooo unique visit. The PeeWee was just so great to stay at for the night. The interior was so pretty and unique and I’m so glad that I stayed there. Almost half of the PeeWee was a very... More

This was an amazing stay in a quirky, secluded spot that I'll never forget! It's like camping with new friends. We stayed in the Sidshow trailer. It is decorated to its theme right down to the jail bats on the bathroom door. We met so many wonderful people who we would not have otherwise met had it not been for... More

I went to Trailer Palace in December 2015 with eight of my best girlfriends. We like to have a Joshua Tree vacation/reunion once a year. It was the first time we stayed at the Trailer Palace and it is truly just that, a PALACE! Absolutely adore. The rooms are trailers, each trailer has its own theme. They do have heaters... More

We loved Hicksville and thought it a shame we don't live in the US as it would be a great place to come with a bunch of friends for a night or two as you basically have the run of the place and it's so much fun! We stayed in the pee-wee which was a fun little hippy style trailer... More

Stayed for just one night in the Fifi trailer to check it out (I planned my trip too late to book more nights, unfortunately) and will definitely be coming back for more! Surreal trailer park oasis in the middle of the desert, with loads of games and other activities to keep you occupied. There's a fire pit and a grill,... More

We found this place online and, upgraded to the Integratrailer, after two days camping in Joshua Tree. We used it as a base as we went back into the park. There were only three other people there when we arrived, which was great, it was super quiet day and night. It started to get crowded on Thursday, and I'm sure... More

We stayed in Project Z, which is a toolshed across the street from the main compound. Thank goodness we did, as the noise emanating from the main compound went on until 11:00 p.m. We slept on a fold-out couch, which really is no more than a futon. The pillows sucked, though this is not surprising? It's a wacky place, certainly... More
