I stayed at Apple Tree three nights, while visiting Palomar Observatory and the Julian area. The inn was comfortable and pleasant (very comfortable bed!) and the office was friendly. I loved how quiet it was at night.

What has been done to address the more negative reviews being told here? ie: Dog rooms smell bad, a block to cover air vent, TV with no remote and 3-4:channels, older run down beds etc...
I don't see anyone responding from the hotel to speak to any one of these more disturbing reviews.
Would be a huge plus for those of us whom never stayed but wish to
