The room is very spacious and quiet. Also it has a hot spring attached to the room. Staffs are polite and courteous. Food was good but its portion was somewhat surpasses the capacity of usual stomach. Found a bug in the bed but the room service quickly changed the entire set of sheets. It's in a remote place but it...

This is the last stop of our trip to Hokkaido. And I think it's perfect to end a trip in this hotel. Location: 20mins taxi ride from the Noboribetsu Station. There are few attractions nearby the hotel. For instance the "Shikotsu-Toya National Park" & "Noboribetsu Bear Park".etc are within 10mins driving distance. Room: Staying in a Suite and size is...

Second visit but service cleanliness went downhill. Lounge was dusty giving me a nose allergy as evident from dust on top of display glass. Lift carpet was extremely old soiled and dirty with rocks with no signs of regular cleaning. For the expensive price, expect more customized service e.g. for example to remember our request and dietary needs for second...

Modern type ryokan - feels more like a luxury boutique hotel. Those looking for traditional ryokan might be disappointed. We enjoyed our two-night stay here, which cost about US$1,500 inclusive of breakfast and a very big dinner. We didn't manage to get in till 8.45 pm the first night and although dining time was almost over, they very kindly served...

Located in the beautiful countryside, this is a Japanese style deluxe hotel, shoes off at the door, etc. It has small dining rooms for groups with excellent service. The rooms are extremely large with a large spa in the room.

I felt sad without any feeling of "omotenashi" after staying at this ryokan for a night. The staff didn't guide us to the room which was not a formal "Ryokan" practice. During dinner, I heard that the staff explained very detail about every dishes to the neighborhood Japanese group but never explained any to us. Maybe they were afraid of...

So if you want privacy, this is it. Watever in the fridge is complimentary. There is a room for you to gather with complimentary drinks. You...

Good facilities on the whole. Staff were friendly, except one, guess the keeper of the stone sauna rooms, shouted at us in Japanese when another staff were showing us around, he must have objected to us sneaking in his territory without his "permission", but we were accompanied by a hotel staff !! Very rude indeed !! Food OK, nothing special,...
