I was mostly very impressed by the Requa Inn - great location, high end tone, accomodating staff and they have very friendly pets including a dog who wants to play with whoever is nearest. We were greeted in the car park by one of the cats, who purred ferociously. The cautions are 1) the 'single seating, family style dining'. I...

The historic Requa Inn is a lovely old Inn built in the 1920's. It's in wonderful shape for such an old inn and has all the nice touches one doesn't get in modern life. It's view of the Klamath River is expansive but thevery best part was the dinner. It was amazing. Don't miss staying here if you are ever...

We were so looking forward to this stop on our honeymoon roadtrip. First things first, it is a lovely historic inn, the setting is beautiful and the sound of playing seals in the river was fantastic. However, the negatives are almost too numerous to mention. Even for an historic inn the room was in need of a bit of TLC....

We enjoyed our stay at the Historic Requa Inn. We were there for 2 nights in August. We took 2 rooms. I stayed in one with our son and my wife stayed in the second one. Both rooms had great views of the Rogue River. Granted the rooms were small and the furniture old, but the beds were comfortable and...

I booked this hotel based on the great reviews on trip advisor. My family of four, two adults and two girls ages 12 and 15, had a one night stay at this hotel on a three week road trip. This is the one hotel I was really looking forward to staying at. The hotel itself did not disappoint me. It...

We booked a couple of nights at this Historic Inn in order to visit the local redwood groves and it was a most pleasant surprise. Our room was small, compact and comfortable for a night's sleep although we are accustomed to a larger bed. The real beauty of this place is the new generation of talented locals and a talented...

Nice old local place with great views. Book the Mountainside unit if you can get it. Too good to pass up and the views are to die for. We 4 ate at the Inn and had an outstanding Gourmet meal at this hidden gem They did a better than average breakfast, too. We support hard working small business owners everywhere...

In addition to all the positive comments in the reviews below, I have to add that the dining room serves AMAZING food at dinner. It's not cheap but it is worth every penny. Two wonderful young chefs use local ingredients to create inventive and tasty dishes. It's also fun to share a table with other travelers and enjoy the conversation.

Definitely take in the "historic" qualities of this Inn! The old wooden building and "antique-y" decor add to the ambience, and it's fun to read and look at the memoriabilia in their main living room space. It's also wonderful to find out more about the Yurok Indian history in the area, and to know that the family who now owns...

We stayed at Requa for one great night on a trip north from San Francisco. Lodging doesn't impress from outside, but is wonderful inside. Old wood, lots of character, cozy living room. Our room had a view of the river, which led to great bird views and the chance to watch the fishermen roar down the river. The host was...
