This is definitely not what you’d expect in an out-of-the-way place like Klamath. It reminds me more of a small boutique hotel in New York, but at 1/5 the rate. The rooms are (more or less) individually decorated, the furnishings are not “budget hotel standard”, the toiletries are ample and a cut above the minimum. Oh, and like New York,...

You might consider staying here overnight while visiting the Redwood Casino next door. Our medium sized room #17 ($70) heated up in about 2 hours after we turned the baseboard heater on on a cold December evening. In the meantime we ate in one of the few restaurants within walking distance, the Abalone restaurant in the casino, which was reasonably...

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the Redwoods. The room was clean and comfortable and a good value for the area. The breakfast was adequate and the host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

During a recent month long motorcycle ride across the country we stayed in quite a lot of places, including lots of motels. In all my travel experiences I can say that when "motel" is the choice I lower my expectations because they are usually outdated and worn. Ravenwood is not like any other motel I've ever stayed in. Well-appointed, clean,...

This is a country motel. It's a clean, updated motel with a continental breakfast. The rooms are stylish with adequate space. My room did not have a refrigerator, microwave or coffeemaker although there is a continental breakfast with coffee. The queen bed was really creaky with every toss and turn. There is no ATT phone service in the area. If...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights while we explored the redwoods nearby. Perry is a terrific host; he gave us wonderful suggestions for the most scenic drives and attractions along the way. Nice to stay in a motel that isn't a chain with special amenities such as a piano to play and a lending library. The breakfasts were simple...

Found this place by chance when travelling through the Redwoods and really happy we did. Cleanest, freshest room we stayed in during our 2 week trip. The guy on reception was great and offered really useful advise. Only down side was the wifi being sketchy. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room at the Ravenwood Motel in Klamath was very clean and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable and linens newer. Included breakfast in the morning was good. Not a lot going on in the town - will likely need to travel to Crescent City for entertainment.

We stayed here one Saturday night. It was very nice, we had a "suite". It was a decent value, slept 4+ adults (two single beds, 2 double beds). Had two bathrooms. It was clearly two single rooms where they cut a hole in the wall to make a "suite". Everything was clean and well maintained. The owner was super friendly,...

This motel in Klamath is clean and basic and half the price of the Holiday Inn next door. The room was small, making it a bit cramped with our infant and luggage. The room had a strong smell of cleaning fluids that never really dissipated. There was no Internet, and the area has poor cellular data service so your phone...
