This is a great place to make your modern day "base camp" for exploring the numerous redwoods hiking and sightseeing experiences nearby. Our room was excellent and we had no complaints with the facilities or the staff, who were very helpful.

Terrific newer place in the best location for viewing the Redwoods parks. Connected to a small native Americans casino. Nice friendly people. Good breakfast. Convenient to viewing Redwoods south and north.

Mid May is a wonderful time to visit. Always potential for rain and fog along the NorCal coastline, but still, a very good time to visit. Blackberries might be ripening early as well. Enjoy the breathtaking views, abundant wildlife and peaceful serenity along the way. Also, keep an eye out for the Roosevelt elk as you travel further North!
