This is the perfect place to escape and recharge. Fit for a couple, family, or even a small group of friends( like 4). The location is beautiful. The amenities are great with everything you need. They even offer make-up remover wipes. The staff was great and very accommodating. In walking distance of shops and restaurants. Close enough to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves.
Great place to stay. My boyfriend and I booked for one night at Laguna Inn but we were so amazed with the place and the area that we wanted to stay longer. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Lot's of good restaurants and very cute stores around. Unfortunately, for the 4th of July weekend the hotel was fully booked so it was difficult to book one more night. We will definitely be back. Great experience at the Retreat in Laguna!
My brother and I just spent 3 nights at the Sleepy Hollow 2 condo. It is great - right on the beach, great balcony with views of the ocean, the coastline and the beach. It is modern, clean, bright and well equipped. It is listed under "The Retreat" but actually is located on the beach side of Route 1, the PCH, right next to Sunset Cove Villas. Access to the beach is right outside the door. Ralphs Grocery/Wine/Liquor is across the street. The service from Julio and his colleagues at Laguna Hospitality was exceptional. Definitely will be back.
This was probably one of my favorite hotels experiences I have had in California. Beautiful oceanfront views, a few steps away from the beach, restaurants, and bars. The room had a fully equipped kitchen and very nice bathroom. Emily from the front desk made sure that my girlfriend and I had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, thanks again!
Really nice unit. Great view. Updated. Clean. Comfortable. Challenges: No ice No peep hole on the door (security concern). Especially since the master gate to the unit doesn’t lock Since you have to check in at the Holiday Inn across the street it gives you a false sense of security. We were woken up at 4am by a banging on the door on the unit below us, also owned by the property. Repeated banging and yelling, in the form of a domestic dispute. I called the Laguna Hospitality phone number where I was told no one is on staff and was literally asked “what do you want me to do about it?” I was advised to call the police. They should be more clear in both the book that they leave in the room as well as when checking in what to do in case of emergency. While no one expects something to happen it would be nice to know what to do or who to call, even if it is the police.…
