Our family had the opportunity to support a "woman owned" business. Although the hotel is located farther away from Laguna's main hub, we loved the ability to utilize the free trolley (operates July & August). The beach is located 2 blocks from the hotel and down about 26 steps to the sand. There are plenty of places to view art...

Thank you for choosing the Art Hotel for your stay. Because we are a owner/operator establishment, sometimes things do get past us. But all in all, we enjoyed your visit and hope you come back soon.

I recently traveled 8+ hours to stay here, arriving after driving through bad conditions and feeling ill. Upon arrival the desk clerk ignored me waiting to check in, instead electing to extend a conversation with other guests about a personal topic unrelated to their stay. When I interrupted to ask to be checked in the desk clerk became hostile; when...

We do apologize for the inconvenience that you suffered. We're generally a very nice hotel with positive attitudes. We like to give undivided attention to all our guests - therefore we apologize if you feel we ignored you. Because we are an owner/operator business, we do our best to solve any issues that arise with our guests. One a positive...

The hotel was cute and charming from the looks of it. Interior was nothing fancy. I am a big amenities person and they didn't have much going on in this department. The pool seemed nice enough but that's about it. The bed was as hard and uncomfortable. The hotel was not within walking distance to downtown. I didn't have overly...

Thank you for staying at the hotel ... and yes, our prices are inexpensive compared to the main corporate hotels in town. We are an owner / operator small business of just 28 rooms. If we charged $100 + more a night, our amenities would appreciate. And we don't offer any breakfast because we simply don't have space to serve...

My family of 6 stayed here for a weekend. We were located right across from the pool which had nice couches for lounging. The beach was fantastic, short walk across the street. Rooms were older, but very clean with nice towels and the owners shared their stash of boogie boards and beach chairs located in the parking garage. The place...

Thank you for staying at our small quaint owner operated hotel. We don't advertise any breakfast for our guests simply because there isn't any space to serve it. So as a good gesture to our guests, we offer, at no cost, small pastries, orange juice and water to give you a kick start to get you to a more solid...

Nothing is cheap in Laguna - this is inexpensive in comparison and a good choice. The room is good size and clean, well decorated. Rooms come with microwave, refrigerator and a very nice size tub; oversized bath towels. There is a small pool; the website says they have a hot tub but they recently got rid of this. The mattress...

Thank you for staying at our owner/operator hotel. Unfortunately, we did have to eliminate the jucuzzi .... it wasn't be used very much and it was getting old and worn. So we removed it, and the disclosure of it off our website. Also, on your next visit, there is a small unassuming Chinese restaurant almost across the street - great...

Overall, this hotel has a nice location, convenient and free parking, and decent rooms. There is a little mini market right next door - convenient for miscellaneous needs and desires. The internet will only work for you in your room. I asked for help, and the owner actually gave me a little "attitude" after I rolled my eyes at her...

We certainly apologize for the interpretation of a poor attitude - it must have been "one of those days", but we certainly didn't intend it to be directed at you. Every now and then, we do have small internet issues, and we do our best to solve the issue immediately. But for the most part, our internet provider does give...

We attend the art shows and Pageant of the Masters every year, and we've stayed at this hotel for about 10 years now. Formerly America's Best Inn, the current owners have gathered a funky, eclectic, sometimes strange mix of art both inside the rooms and around the hotel, but it fits the area. Staff is always friendly and attentive, rooms...

Thank you for your stay at our small Owner/Operator hotel. We enjoyed your stay. We removed the continental breakfast because we just didn't have any place to serve it. I'm sorry we only got to stay 1 night. Nice hotel, different from your usual. Clean and comfortable, the bed could have been better but okay.. nicely decorated. Big room, could have had a couple easy chairs, only had a desk chair. Close to the free shuttle, which we needed to get to the Pageant of the Masters.
