We took advantage of the hotel's weekday special - great rate including breakfast. We went in April - weather was ideal and we beat the crowds (between Memorial Day and Labor Day). It's a quick 5 minute walk to the Village where there's lots of...More
We were on a motorcycle trip and had planned to stay at the more expensive inn in town, but I was charmed by the look of the Saddleback Inn. We stayed in a cabin, cute as anything, huge jacuzzi tub. Yes, a bit tired in...More
We stayed with friends who rented the 2 bedroom cabin. The Cabin was really warm and didn't need any extra heat, in fact, we were a little too hot being upstairs with heat rising. I expected it to be a little more tacky like some...More

Based on my research lake arrowhead has private beaches and they require pass to enter. Does the inn offer a pass to those beaches? If not, is there a public beach that is kids friendly?

According the Lake Arrowhead website: "Please be aware that Lake Arrowhead is a private lake. Therefore, it's use is restricted to homeowners in a tract of land roughly 1 mile around the perimeter of the lake, known as "Arrowhead Woods". However, many lake-related activities are available to the general public. Visitors to the area can access Lake Arrowhead by boat on The Arrowhead Queen Lake Tour, by water ski through the McKenzie Water Ski School, or on foot by strolling at Lake Arrowhead Village."
