Good location just off the I5 near a couple of restaurants. Room was on the small side as was the bathroom. Friendly check in though. What let the motel down was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear every word that was being said in the room next door to us. What made this worse was that... More

Had a great stay at this wonderful little motel. Cute clean rooms, situated in the National Forest where the Sacramento River meets Shasta Lake. Completely charming owners gave us spots to swim and advise on place to rent a boat. Nice places to eat and a market within walking distance. Stayed an extra night we liked it so much. We... More

We frequent the lake Shasta motel. We are avid boaters and the lake Shasta motel is in close proximity to 2 boat ramps. It fit our needs as a couple and now is a great place for a family of four. Highly recommended.

I live close to this motel, and as a real estate broker in a lakeside resort area, I often work with out-of-town clients and have personal visitors here on vacation. Stephanie and Jay, owner-operators, always provide a welcoming, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for my guests. I don't hesitate to recommend this lodging. The rooms are classic, lake-cabin reminiscent, there are... More

We have stayed here every year for some time now. Jay and Stephanie are terrific - friendly, gracious and attentive. They are always quick to check in on you and make sure you're comfortable when they see you out by the pool or relaxing in any one of the areas of the property. This is a charming and rustic old-style... More

It's a really nice quaint motel. It's surrounded by trees and not in an industrial place. There is a pool, and 2 dogs who are super nice. Plus, there are fruit trees. It was all together really nice. The room was very homey. It felt like you were visiting your aunt. We really loved it, hope we can visit again!
