My 18 yr old daughter and I went to Sierra Summit Inn, now known as China Peak Ski Resort. The hotel had been 'remodeled' so we had high hopes. Rooms (standard) were $164. Sierra Summit Inn has been re-branded China Peak Inn. (the old original name). We spent a evening there the night before we were to pick up our son at a near by camp. While there was a lot lacking at this place, it's location and price outweigh all the downsides. We decided to go here this year for spring snowboarding instead of Mammoth, and we will return. The facility has seen better days no doubt; even the pics I included don't adequately represent how rundown this place is, but it was so nice...
