It was the end of September and nearing the finale of Indian Summer. The days were sunny and warm, but the afternoon sun had that low slant announcing fall would soon be on its way. Nights were getting chilly, but perfect for the glow of a campfire. A group of my fellow environmental studies grad school alumni from USF gathered...

Drove through Willits on way to Eureka. There was so much traffic we didn't stop to eat , so drove on to next city ,Laytonville. When we stopped to get gas, I saw sign for Dem Bisquits. It was s bright yellow trailor. The menu looked good. We had 9 people . I had country fried steak biscuit. The best...

Our family found themselves in Laytonville at dinner time after a long day on the road and without a place to sleep. Local options were limited and we stumbled upon Menocino Magic here on Trip Advisor. Stacy hooked us up and saved our evening. The property is quiet and beautiful and we wish we could have spent more time there....

We just got home from a three day camping trip at Mendocino Magic. The property was amazingly beautiful and Zeb (the property caretaker) was extremely hospitable. We had tons of room to sprawl out and our doggie Hanz was able to run around off leash. He had so much fun playing with the other dogs on the property. The camping...

Camped here after having a day at the Kate Wolf Music Festival. Stacy met us when we arrived early in the morning to set up our spot, and right away we felt like old pals -- she was very welcoming, laid-back and friendly. We walked around a bit together to see various spots where we could set up our tent,...

We had an AWESOME time. We were able to take the kayaks out and spent a day on the lake, did some fishing and even jumped off the rope swing. The people there were a tremendous help, especially Kenny who always seemed to be around when we needed him. The staff went out and beyond to make sure that we...

In attending a day at the Kate Wolf Folk Festival, we were referred to Mendocino Magic as an alternative to camping with the festival's throng. It turned out to be a wonderful choice. Stacy met us on the property when we arrived, and immediately made us feel at home as she showed us the different locations on the property to...

We stayed at Mendocino Magic while we attended the Kate Wolf Festival last weekend. The grounds are wonderful - very private and lush. We had a completely comfortable weekend including two trips on kayaks and swimming in the reservoir. The owner was on site and checked in with us to be sure everything was going well. We heartily recommend this...
