Our car broke down and we had no choice but to stay here. The owners only had one room with a king size bed. We had our two teenage boys with us. We asked for extra blankets and they gave us one tiny blanket and a pillow and said that is all they had. We had to call the wrecker...

I had driven from Fort Bragg with my son and arrived at the Budget Inn to find a sign in the window that said "We are here, ring the bell". There are two bells outside the door so I pushed one. Nobody came. I rang the second bell. Nobody came. I push both again, but again, nobody came. My son...

We had looked all night on tripadvisor for a motel in or around Laytonville or Ft. Bragg. What we saw was a nice clean little motel. We were surprised because the lady was very nice and the room is very clean. Comes with a microwave and refrigerator and coffee pot. Bathroom is clean and spacious. There is a casino not...

Too many hours on US101 and needed to. Find rest. Even in January, hotels were at a premium and we kept driving another 30 minutes. Clean sheets, very dated and in need of TLC but reasonable rate and quiet.

Stayed here on night of 7/9/13. Had intentions of making it further down the road, but close encounters with meandering deer, meant that we stopped here whilst the going was good.!! We were charged $76 for one night and no breakfast included. The motel was basic, but clean and tidy. The town of Laytonville didn't have a lot to offer.

The language barrier certainly is a problem here. But, the room was large with a fridge that worked. Pretty clean, but not Budget-worthy. The room cost us $66.60. This is still cheap - but compared to others on Route 101, it was over-priced. There is not very much here at all to do - outside the Motel. At around 11pm,a...

Called ahead on availability and prices. Was told we could have a room with a king bed for $60.00 but when we walked in was quoted ten dollars more. After conferring with someone in the back room in a different language we got the phone price. They let us look at a room first and gave us two rooms to...

That's what I should've done. I stayed here because it was late, I was out of gas and I saw the Budget logo, so I trusted it. I don't think this motel is part of the Choice system, because the standards were definitely not there. First of all, the rooms are dated: this isn't an issue with me normally, since...

Not the greatest place to stay and not that reasonable for what it is but there are not too many choices in this small town. The rooms are dated but reasonably clean. The desk person was not very personable and did not appreciate being bothered again with a question. Glad we were only passing through. Would not stay here again...

We stayed two nights. They charged us for four people even though it was my husband, myself, our two year old and our two month old. The second day we slept in late... got up and left to visit family... came back in the late evening to find our room in the same condition as we left it. I went...
