Life doesn't get much better than the view from a rocking chair on the porch of the Little River Hotel. The restaurant has large windowed views of flower gardens, and the food is very good. It is easy to walk from the hotel to the beach, where one can watch abalone fishermen bring in their catch.

Really pleased with this place. Second time staying and would not even consider another property. Clean, friendly. The room we were in had a king bed, porch for rocking chairs and a fabulous steam shower no less. Pet friendly so if you have a pooch, be sure to bring it. Great, and I mean delicious restaurant with fabulous ambiance. For...

The rooms are cute but the porch with the chairs overlooking the ocean were perfect. Didn't hear any road noise and all we could hear was the surf. We ate at the restaurant there both nights and the food was amazing. The staff was friendly. I can't wait to go back.

My BFF and I celebrated 60 years of friendship at Little River Inn. From a room upgrade to a special treat at dinner, they really helped us celebrate. The rooms actually have designated parking spots so you don't have to worry about not having a space close to your room. There's a real wood burning fireplace and I just have...

When we booked our traditional ocean view room with deck at the Little River Inn, we had no idea the ocean view would be so upfront and dramatic. Wow! The Inn is situated right on the Ocean Road as it winds around the rocky shore just south of Mendocino. Our second floor room gave us probably the most dramatic oclean...

We loved our stay at the little river inn , this was our first trip with our 5 month old baby. It's hard to find a place that accepts babies around Mendocino, so we settled for little river- and I'm delighted we did. We chose the ocean view standard king and the view from our room was a dream. The...

We could hear the...

We spent three nights at this inn, and would not hesitate to recommend it. The rooms (we had one of the simplest ones) are unfancy but comfortably appointed. They all seem to have lovely views of the ocean. From our little deck we could see whales spouting offshore. There's tennis and golf, but, surprisingly, no fitness facility. Both the bar...
