I did a ton of research behind my visit to Lodi for the Wine and Chocolate event during valentines day weekend. Every search that I made behind this event led me back to lodging at the Locke House. I had never been to Lodi before and did not have a clue of what to expect. Lani helped me through the...

Thank you for your review. We are so happy you experienced what we sensed about the Locke House when we first arrived here. Right now the gardens are just bursting into spring bloom making a wondrous contrast with the snow capped Sierras in the background. Come back!

A great find. We needed a rest stop halfway between LA and Ashland, OR, and this is almost exactly half-way. We would have settled for anything OK, but this turned out to be a terrific find. The house is very spacious (more like a hotel -it once was inhabited by a doctor with 16 kids), with large den, dining and...

Our first review of the New Year! Thank you for your kind words and especially for the photos taken from your room. As we work in the rooms and look out the windows, we realize we're viewing the same grand trees and Sierra foothills that the Lockes viewed over 125 years ago. Come stay again and take another look in...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn at Locke House during a recent visit to Northern California. I have never stayed at a B&B before so I was unsure what to expect. The service completely exceeded my expectations. We were greeted every morning with homemade breakfast and baked goods. The owners (Lani & Richard) were very helpful in making...

Thank you for staying with us. Like you, we enjoy the variety of opportunities to explore the rich resources of this region. Another guest noted that we are exactly half way from his home in Los Angeles and Ashland, Oregon, and so we've become their "stage coach stop" as they travel the West Coast. We'll have more suggestions for your...

Our first time staying at this charming history-filled inn was wonderful. Each day started with a full course breakfast with delicious food and friendly service. A nice respite from our wine buying exploits. We had fun and will return again with friends!

The opportunity to taste different wines, talk with the winemakers, and explore the land where these wonderful grapes are grown continues to increase with more wine makers opening their own tasting rooms. Our next wine-venture here at the inn are Friday evening tasting sessions beginning late August.

The property was a farmhouse built in 1862. The furniture and decor throughout the guest areas and the sleeping rooms was authentic to that time. It had a very pleasant ambiance. The room was comfortable, however, the bed was a little firm for my taste, The hostess and host were outstanding! We felt welcome from the time we arrived until...

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Locke House this past weekend. We could only stay one night but I wish we could have stayed a few more. The Inn keepers, Richard and Lani were wonderful. We felt like we were visiting with family . Great food. Definately visit! The Millers

It's fun for us to "tour" the house with our guests and recall the stories behind the design of the house and the pieces of furniture chosen throughout the house's 143 years. We appreciate your review.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B the night of our wedding. It was a quite rustic little place but had so much romance to offer. We stayed in the Water Tower room so we had our own entance and much needed privacy. We loved our stay and would love to visit again.

My husband and I love wine from Lodi, so we decided to check it out last weekend. My husband found this Inn on Internet because of its reasonable price. When we checked in, we felt in love this charming house immediately. The room is spacey; everything is well taking care of. Bright and clean bathroom is my favorite. The breakfast...

We're having an old-fashioned BBQ on the 4th and celebrating our the inn's 10th anniversary year at the same time. Serving Locketinis! Many of the Lodi wineries have July 4th specials also.
