Came through Lone Pine with a friend and stayed at the Dow Villa. We were in the motel part so cannot speak for the hotel aspect, but our stay there was great. Clean room, comfy beds, very helpful staff who answered all my questions about things to do/see/eat in Lone Pine. The Dow Villa is in a great location, close...

I stayed one night in the hotel portion (seems to be the same listing on TA as the motel). We showed up around 9 p.m. with no reservations and were still able to get two nice rooms, one with a king and one with queens. No problems with any of the beds! Both rooms were clean, functional and a decent...

Very happy with the room and amenities, nice and quiet. The town lost electricity for 2.5 hours. Fortunately I had food, and a lantern in my car. Plus 3 flashlights. I set up my lighting,, read a book on my iPad so I was fine. All rooms were dark, the surrounding restaurants has to close. Bottom line, I will stay...

A truly original gem. Everything is early sixties it seems (including the rooms), but what a place full of character, charm and history. Having been here during the Christmas season, it was truly a little magic to arrive here after the drive from Lake Tahoe. And Lone Pine is an excellent base for exploring up Yosemite, the Alabama Hills and...

We stayed in the historic hotel which is next to the motel. It's very clean, well appointed, with friendly staff and a wonderful lobby. Decent coffee and a fireplace in the lobby were nice. I'm sure we'll stay here again.

It is the motel that is most brightly lighted for the seasons when I stay there in late December. The view from the motel is so beautiful. Definitely a place that I would recommend for anyone looking for good quality accommodation when they are visiting Death Valley.

Excellent stay at this motel. Room was very clean, although some small electrical issues (lights at entry didnt work, hairdrier didn't work). No breakfast though they do have coffee in the lobby. We left the light on in our car and they hunted us down to let us know :) Recommended hotel, great western gateway to Death Valley!

The Villa Dow Hotel is next door and is older and does not have the amenities of the motel where I stayed and had A/C and WiFi. The carved iron accessories and live plant made the room especially nice. It was clean, updated and quite pleasant.
