I thought this was a great stay for the price. It is on Broadway near several restaurants in Long Beach. My room was small, but comfortable. The bed could have been more comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and a small TV with a DVD player. I did not watch TV, but there are lots of movies to choose from...

This isn't a luxury hotel, and that's why my husband and I booked it. It's hard to find places in Long Beach that aren't either incredibly expensive (and in the busy, boring downtown) or frighteningly shabby. Beachrunner's Inn is a pretty, comfortable house that's just a 4-minute walk from the beach and a 10-minute walk from 4th Street's Retro Row...

This was my second visit to Beachrunners Inn. Still a nice place to stay, but seemed to be lacking the nice, personal touches of my last visit. Room was fine, but was missing shampoo. No big deal, as I had some. Breakfast was more basic than I remember. A cooked item, sitting in the pan in which it was made,...

I'll admit, I've never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast before so some of this may be par for the course. This property is well-cared for and clean for the most part. However, I believe it's time for a deep cleansing. (There is plenty dust and dirt in the less conspicuous areas.) Although located on a fairly busy street, it's remarkably quiet...

Barbara was very helpful when I made the reservations. I am handicapped and she put me in their down stairs room, so I would not have to climb the fairly steep set of stairs that were shown on their website. At check in Pat helped us get settled and showed us around. Very nice B&B. We were in town to...

We stayed at this lovely home a quick kid free getaway and couldn't have been more pleased. We were in the upstairs Laguna Beach room which was very nice, clean, and cozy. I appreciate seeing pride of ownership in this family run b&b and loved (loved!) the attention to detail, keeping the integrity of the home and creating a warm...

I really wanted to like this conveniently locationed B & B but left a bit disappointed in the morning. The inn is a beautifully restored home in the Bluff Heights district along Broadway which is busy commercial/residential area. Obviously a family run business, rooms were small but comfortable and decorated with early 20th century furnishings. Guest are welcome to use...

I recently stayed at the Beachrunner's Inn when attending a work conference at the Westin. I usually avoid staying at the conference hotel and like the vibe of a B&B or hostel instead. Beachrunner did not disappoint. I was grateful that the staff stayed up for my late (11:30 pm) arrival from LAX. The Inn has a spacious downstairs with...

Nice room, well maintained, clean, decent neighborhood, semi-convenient parking, useless wi-fi. I require a decent internet connection when I travel and the Beachrunners Inn failed, moreover when I asked them about it I got my equipment blamed. Both my laptop and my wife's worked perfectly before and after our stay at Beachrunners. If you don't need the internet, it's a...

Stayed here on the 4th of July this year - Long Beach itself was crazy but this place wasn't too busy which was nice! Luckily we had a car park out the back as it would have been impossible to get a park on the street. Room was nice (we had the smallest one) - very basic and a bit...

Alana, Thank your for your kind words and consideration of the fact that your visit took place during a busy holiday weekend. We want to advise that our Whole House Fan was installed in mid August, just weeks after your July 4th stay. This air cooling system is designed to provide relief from high tempreatures and increase the circulation of...
