This is our second visit to the motel - so cute! We loved all the outdoor areas to hang out in and the wine room as well. The beds were really comfortable but I think the space could have been a bit cleaner. The skins on the floor were looking a bit worn. They were super helpful with supplying a...

A cute revamp of an older motel makes for a good one or two night stay. The rooms are compact with attractive shabby chic furnishings, showers work well and we could park right outside. Check in quick and helpful. There is a nice central garden space for sitting with a glass of wine. Best of all is the location set...

This was a great little motel. Of course everything was within walking distance of this quaint little town. The rooms are crisp and efficient and offer some local wines within. The motel also has a small wine tasting room, a local musician and a community fire pit, which is great for the quiet evenings.

Rustic hotel in a great location. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Center gathering area with fire pit, water feature and wine bar on premises were great. Only suggestion would be to have black out drapery as the light outside our room was very bright and shone through the curtains throughout the night.

This is a chic little motel in an awesome town. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, the room was super clean and the staff was really nice. It was the best $100.00 that I have spent in a long time.

We were there on March 28th and were initially delighted when we checked into the room. Clean, eclectically furnished, and very comfortable beds. I got up at 6:30am for my shower and ran and ran the water waiting for it to heat up -- when the tub started to really fill, I turned if and tried running in the sink....

I am sorry you were so unhappy with your stay, but when I checked the hot water in your room, it took 1 minute and 42 seconds to heat up. I offered to show you and you declined. I know this isn't ideal and I was very apologetic. Also, my cell phone number is on the door and you are...

I just LOVED this motel! There must have been some major changes since earlier reviews, because for me it was a great place to stay. Cosy, nice, clean, with very friendly staff. My newly renovated room slept great and I carry good memories of my stay in this one horse town.

...by the Shelter Social Club because this place is fantastic, provided you like rustic minimalist decor and quirky 'off the beaten track' locations. I found the Alamo motel searching travel sites for a place to stay on my own for one night after a fun visit with a friend in the nearby ' Danish capital of America', Solvang. The description...

Loved our stay at The Alamo Motel. Rooms are fully remodeled with a great rustic-minimalist vibe. Beds were very comfortable. Pet friendly. Communal fire pit area and great wine tasting room. I would 100% recommend staying here instead of over priced hotels in Solvang or Los Olivos. Holiday warning - if you're traveling to SYV during Christmas - EVERYTHING is...

What a fun town to visit, highly recommend it. If you do visit, there are VERY few places to stay (4 in total) and this was a great value. Not sure if the rates will go up over time but in a town of a just a few blocks, you're walking distance to everything - great restaurants and wine tasting...
