This is a great value-for-money place to stay. It's not super amazing, the bathrooms are small, there's no climate control, etc, it's basically like the best hostel you've ever stayed at- if you don't expect anything more, you won't be disappointed.

As my Couchsurf had fallen through for my first night in LA I was desperate for a place and this hotel welcomed me with open arms and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Totally loved this hotel, however as a budget backpacker I found this waaay to expensive however that's Downtown LA for you. It was my oasis from the craziness...

I chose this hotel as I am a fan of American Horror Story and this was the hotel that inspired the 5th series starring Lady Gaga. It was a great price and rather impressive when you walk into the lobby very old style LA and boutique. I paid for a room that has a private bathroom. The room was clean...

It's very well located, near lots of attractions and interesting sites of LA's Downtown. Great and very friendly and helpful staff, a nice breakfast, very good infrastructure with entertainment and things to do. And my favourite part, an incredible architecture that makes you feel back in the 1930's. Overall great value for money!

Pretty clean, good facilities, friendly staff, it is what it is, the dorms are what you expect of a hostel very basic but comfortable beds, shared shower was clean, I had a view of the street below, the only thing I had a problem with was the wifi which was pretty dreadful at times but peaked at certain times in...

Was emailed they had lockers which I was going to use for early check-in and it ended being a store room were staff had to called. Prefer to have a locker. Check-in was easy. Area is unsafe and people are using the sidewalks as a bathroom.

Nice place to stay for a week. Bathroom and shower were shared, but clean. Room was quite big for two people and bed was comfortable. Breakfast is poor. However, there are near many restaurants or markets. Los Angeles doesn't have place what I can call center. On the other hand, hotel is close to subway and there are many locat buses....
