I really enjoyed my seven night stay at this place. I booked a room at the Inn at Venice Beach at the last minute after a disappointing Airbnb fail. I got a good deal on a regular room and when I went to check in they had given me a complimentary upgrade to a loft room on top of the...

We arrived to the hotel straight from the Los Angeles airport, we got a taxi straight to the hotel for just under $30. A member of staff was there to greet us and was extremely friendly. The hotel itself was lovely, perhaps some of the hotel had been updated before others as some areas still had a dated feel. The...

Although I suspect this place is mostly for a younger, trendy clientele, but regardless, we ( 60 yo couple ) had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Think this place was once a classic motel, but the renovation is very nicely done. Parking is easy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy stroll to both Venice Beach, pier and canals. Rooms were...

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Being close to the boardwalk and canals, you dont have to use your car, once you park at the hotel parking. The only thing, that can be better is that the rooms could be more soundproof.

We booked 2 nights at the end of our Route66 journey. Nice hotel comfortable well equipped room and great location just off Venice Beach. Staff were excellent and helpful. Perhaps a little pricey but that's down to location. Advertises free internet but number of devices is limited

This hotel feels Euro for some reason.....it is literally blocks from the beach and less than 100 feet away the street gets crazy busy, but for some reason things calm down where the hotel is located.....it felt quiet and safe and extremely convenient....the hotel accomodated our very early arrival around 11a....we called ahead to notify them of the time we...

Location was great , close to everything, yet very quiet at night. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very helpful, Emad was a great host. The only draw back was the breakfast, second rated food, a bagel was moldy, luckily we saw it on time.

Good location for exploring Venice Beach and a stroll along the Venice Canals. Complimentary breakfast is rather basic but serves the purpose. Best of all is Emad, the concierge: he is a marvel, With his help, he just made my stay as enjoyable as ever possible.

I`ve been to Venice with my friend on Apr, 19-20, 2017 and we loved this place so much! Helpfull and friendly staff (especially Emad), tasty breakfast, parking for 22$ per day, Venice pier is in about 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Hardly recommended!

The hotel is well located on Venice Beach and has a great roof top bar/restaurant. However, you need to make reservations for busy weekends as staying in the hotel does not get you in on the roof if they are full. Its a happening place for young people! My husband and I are in our 60's but we still enjoyed...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
