Stylish, friendly, certainly close to Venice Beach and Marina del Rey. Loved the decor and really appreciate the nice breakfast. Bed was comfortable, parking was easy and close. Numerous restaurants in walking distance. A little above my usual costs, but will stay here again!

We just got back from visiting friends and family in SoCal. We also cleared out 3 days of rest and relaxation for just us and booked 3 nights at the Inn at Venice Beach. It was great. We walked up and down the boardwalk, explored the Venice canals (only a block away!) and saw all the shops and restaurants on...

This easy to stay in Hotel was recommended by my friends Jenny and Mike who use often when visiting LA from Australia. I first stayed here in 2010 as it is away from the City and gives you a Californian beach feel in funky Venice. Easy to get to Santa Monica, Abbott Kinney and LA including both the Getty Museum...

Went to L.A. on business and needed a hotel for 5 nights. I had already walked in and out of the first hotel, checked out of a second and beginning to despair. I need a good night's sleep to be at my best. I checked out some reviews and located the Inn at Venice Beach. I liked the location very...

This is a hotel you should not miss if you pay a short visit to the city of angels. The hotel staff are very friendly, esp. Rasha. After knowing us having our honeymoon at her hotel, she not only gave us tips in finding a fantastic restaurant in town for nice steak and seafood, but also treated us a nice...

A great place to stay, close to all the action in Venice beach and a short bike ride or drive to Santa Monica. Great decor and beautiful rooms and courtyards. The breakfast was also great. Don't recommend this place if you don't have a car, but then again I don't recommend anywhere in Los Angeles if you don't have a...

I stayed here with my husband and in-laws for 2 nights (Mon-Wed) and it was a decent place to stay. The rooms were clean and remodeled and breakfast was included (buffet style). It's walking distance to the canals, the marina and Venice beach and the neighborhood was decent, I felt comfortable walking to bars and restaurants in the evenings. The...

An interesting mix at this hotel. Good: clean rooms, recently renovated, complimentary Wi-Fi, proximity to Venice Beach, proximity to good, reasonably-priced eateries. Very good: courtesy and helpfulness of the staff (That includes all the staff: Manager, front desk, maintenance guy, cleaners, breakfast room servers.), the continental breakfast, the plushness of the towels, and the quality of the bathroom soaps and...

This is a great little place to stay. The decor is super hip '60's right out of Mad Men. Our room was large, very clean, and had fun photographs on the walls. Breakfast was included and was perfect. The staff is very helpful. Location cannot be beat as it is a very short walk to the beach and you are...

I stayed at the Inn at Venice Beach in September 2013. I found the room spacious and the décor was great. It was very close walk to the pier and restaurants. Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
