This hotel looks like a Motel on the outside, only the doors all face inward to a courtyard. Inside, the rooms have all been redone as a classy boutique, with oversized rooms, nice custom furnishings, and modernized AC. Not where I'd spend a week's vacation, but if I had business in the area, I'd certainly go back! There's a very...

Overpriced for the $200/night price tag. Room came with a noisy space heater fan to keep warm. The hotel pictures on the hotel site are misleading as to the actual condition of the room. An obvious hotel renovation took place where the allocated budget was spread thin and shortcuts were preferred over quality. Two stars simply for location (close to...

Very interesting conversion of 1950 motel to fine, well priced hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms and fine bathrooms. It isn't the Beverly Wilshire but efficient and priced for sales or small business. Try it!

Great little boutique hotel. Very unique. Lenny's deli across the street is very good! I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean. Cute little garden area. Nice and quiet. Very close to the Santa Monica airport.

Reminds me of the little hotels I visited in Europe... The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern, the beds are comfortable, and the location is pretty great. Close to all kinds of things to walk to and a short drive away from other attractions. Highly recommend!

I would agree with most of the other reviews here, you stay here for the central location in West LA. I needed somewhere where I could easily get to downtown, bev hills and Santa Monica, this was perfect. Ubers came in one minute flat. Rates were affordable so I splurged for a junior "suite" which was just a little longer...

Clean rooms, but they have space heaters and creaky floors. It is really a motel that has been dressed up. It's nice, safe and a short drive to many of the area's attractions, but it is overpriced for the quality.

This small hotel, located conveniently in the West L.A. area offers clean, if Spartan rooms. Beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi is free. Breakfast is free, consisting of a couple of cereal choices, yogurt, fruit, coffee and bagels. Staff is friendly and accommodating. That's the good The bad: had to tell them the toilet was wobbly. The towels are thin. The air-conditioning...

In this area, you're pretty much only going to find scrubby little hotels (which are still expensive) or super high-end hotels. This was a good priced mid-ranged find with a good location. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and it looked nice. It's obviously a renovated apartment building, but it was done well. We had a corner room on...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located right on Westwood Blvd, you will be only footsteps away from shopping, dining, entertainment and Los Angeles` premier attractions. At LA Sky Boutique Hotel you are sure to enjoy a contemporary, serene atmosphere surrounded by the excitement of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Beach Cities. When you enter the lobby, the charm of this boutique property will unveil itself. The intimate, chic, living room-like lobby surrounds a small bar where guests can enjoy a nice bottle of California wine or creamy specialty coffees and cookies. The ``why`` behind the name L.A. Sky Hotel becomes obvious as you walk through a door into the indoor courtyard, once open to the ``LA Sky`` and now covered with a beautiful canopy that shades the interior. It`s an indoor-outdoor courtyard that is perfect for an afternoon drink or a lazy e-mail session. The common areas of the L.A. Sky encompass everything that a person could want in a Boutique Hotel: cozy, comfortable, charming, clean and tasteful. One beautifully rare occurrence in the City of Angels is not having to drive a car to get where you want to go. If it`s trendy L.A. eats or a new pair of tight jeans you are looking for you won`t have to re-park the car, just walk out the front door. There are a melange of restaurants on the block and more shopping than any man can take at the Westwood Pavilion Shopping Center. The famed Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards are nearby and even the Beach Cities like Santa Monica and Venice are within 5 miles. ... more   less
