Very bad rude customer service. We reserved a room with two queen beds a month in advance over the phone. We got there they said there was no double queen rooms available and stuck us in a room with one king bed and a pull out twin couch. When we reserved the room we told them the number of occupants...

I booked online because this hotel offered decent rates compared to other LA hotels. My room was quite cute, but there was no full-length mirror and no safe. Bed was comfy but walls were thin - I was woken up/kept awake by neighbours snoring, walking around above me, people talking in the courtyard and what sounded like an alarm which...

My husband and I drove down from Morro Bay this past summer with the intention of visiting the Simon Weisenthal Center and the Getty Museum. I booked our room at the the Sky online, based on three criteria: price, location, appearance. We arrived on Tuesday and departed on Friday. Upon arrival we were a bit concerned because of the limited...

Stayed at the Sky Hotel while visiting family and attending a movie screening in the nearby shopping center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Decor was a nice change from the standard hotel room. The lobby has a wine / espresso bar that is self serve pay by the bottle. We received a special room rate and were advised that once...

I checked into this hotel and found bed bugs, so asked to be moved to another room (I understand that you don't need to leave a hotel if there are bed bugs in one room). There were no room available, so the desk clerk said they could credit my payment back and I left to stay at another hotel. I...

Made a reservation for 3 days but changed the plan to stay just one night, asked the hotel staff to cancel 2 days of stay and said they said it was OK to cancel but they charged for 3 days anyway. I tried to contact the manager to refund the money but they had a really bad attitude and brushed...

I reserved a room with 2 Queen beds for 4 people. At check out they charged me an additional $160.00 because they said the room was for 2. We were never told this at checkin as the 4 of us were at the front desk. The rooms are very small and the customer service is not good!

The Sky Hotel was an excellent place to stay whilst in LA. We were in a large suite and it was wonderful - the best bed and linen I have experienced in a hotel in a long time! I was travelling for work with my boyfriend and we both loved it. We had a rental car so the location didn't...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located right on Westwood Blvd, you will be only footsteps away from shopping, dining, entertainment and Los Angeles` premier attractions. At LA Sky Boutique Hotel you are sure to enjoy a contemporary, serene atmosphere surrounded by the excitement of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Beach Cities. When you enter the lobby, the charm of this boutique property will unveil itself. The intimate, chic, living room-like lobby surrounds a small bar where guests can enjoy a nice bottle of California wine or creamy specialty coffees and cookies. The ``why`` behind the name L.A. Sky Hotel becomes obvious as you walk through a door into the indoor courtyard, once open to the ``LA Sky`` and now covered with a beautiful canopy that shades the interior. It`s an indoor-outdoor courtyard that is perfect for an afternoon drink or a lazy e-mail session. The common areas of the L.A. Sky encompass everything that a person could want in a Boutique Hotel: cozy, comfortable, charming, clean and tasteful. One beautifully rare occurrence in the City of Angels is not having to drive a car to get where you want to go. If it`s trendy L.A. eats or a new pair of tight jeans you are looking for you won`t have to re-park the car, just walk out the front door. There are a melange of restaurants on the block and more shopping than any man can take at the Westwood Pavilion Shopping Center. The famed Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards are nearby and even the Beach Cities like Santa Monica and Venice are within 5 miles. ... more   less
