Worst hotel ever ! Rude and uncompromising! Wrong date was booked , tried changing it and they charge a full cancelation fee ! 😡 May was selected when it was supposed to be June , we wanted to stay there for 4 nights , but instead we got charged for a cancelation fee so I cancelled the complete stay ....

Contemporary styled suites. Comfortable enough. Most enjoyable feature was rooftop deck with grill and great panorama views of the ocean, the beach and the cityscape! Least favorite thing were restrooms. They were like RV restrooms, especially the toilet. Staff was warm and friendly. No breakfast provided and no coffee in room. Had to walk down the boardwalk for coffee or...

We are definitely more that a hotel. Our historic 1926 boardwalk & beachfront building consists of furnished studio and one bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens. We are your home away from home on the beach. We pride ourselves on having the best rooftop terrace of any hotel on the Venice Beach boardwalk with a gas barbeque, kitchen cooking area,...

We absolutely loved the location, it was a 30 minute walk to Santa Monica and sort walk to Venice, But being in on the ground floor was a little noisy. So clean and really lovely rooms. Totally would go back, but would ask to be on a higher floor.

We are the only Venice Beach boardwalk hotel where you step out our front door and on to the sand. We are within walking distance to everything including boutique shops and restaurants from Abbott Kinney Blvd to the Santa Monica Pier. We have a large attraction of lively people on the boardwalk but at the end of the day we...

This peoperry was ok for a two night stay. You could hear the neighbors dragging chairs around and watching tv above. I don't think the neighbors were too noisy so guessing the sound proofing is not the best. Beautiful roof top deck, we ate lunch there. The front desk folks were very friendly. Parking was not fun and super expensive.

Location...location...location. The hotel is on the north end of the Venice Boardwalk. I mean RIGHT ON the boardwalk. It is two blocjs away from the west end of Abbott Kinney (restaurants & shopping). The building used to be a bathhouse do it has beautiful masonry/tile work. The hotel has 4 floors of maybe 8-10 rooms. On the 5th floor they...

Once again a fabulous time was had by us both. Impecable service, very homey, out the front door and on to the boardwalk. Heaven. Booked again for September 2016. Can't wait. See you guys soon. There is sooo much to see and do. Sidewalk Cafe is a must. Third Street Promenade and let's not forget Labor Day at Muscle Beach....

I am very picky when it comes to the cleanliness of a hotel room. I read that this place is clean, but it's amazingly clean. I did try to wipe the floor with Lysol wipe, and it turned out that there's no dirt the wipe turned out white as it was. The location is right on the beach, I woke...

We are proud to say that our maid service is of the highest quality. Furthermore, our office staff inspect every room after the maids have cleaned to make sure everything is up to our standards and working perfectly. We don’t clean the guest units on a daily basis like a standard hotel. We are happy to provide fresh linens and...

Loved this place - felt like an apartment right on the beach! The staff was very friendly and we loved the view from our room. The kitchen area and decor (exposed brick) was really nice. Thanks for the beach towel too! Only cons were the lack of housekeeping and parking issues. But we will be back. That roof deck is...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
