This building used to be a Days Inn before according to the inspection report.
I was expecting a hotel but got a motel.
The staff is pretty friendly.
Location is great.
They have parking (for $25)
The room was a decent size.

I have always seen this hotel on Hotel tonight & finally got to stay here! I travel a lot for work and stay at hotels at least twice a month... Shelter hotel was one of my favorites!

They have covered spaces under the hotel. Cars park 2 deep in some spaces, so they keep your car key in order to move car if someone needs to get out. We were in handicapped space, so we had no issues. I'm not sure how other... More
They have covered spaces under the hotel. Cars park 2 deep in some spaces, so they keep your car key in order to move car if someone needs to get out. We were in handicapped space, so we had no issues. I'm not sure how other guests dealt with it.
