My first experience with the Ritz was not good. Decided to give it one more try. This time was night and day. As soon as we pulled up we had a friendly greeting. Our luggage was taken right away. I was offered a glass of Proseco at checkin. The woman at reception was very friendly. My room was ready and...

Another Grammy week has come and gone. My visit to the Grammy events was only surpassed by my stay at the Ritz. The Ladies and Gentleman of the Ritz make my visit just stupendous. From the moment that Mariana Sanchez confirms my room, to when Reggie Dominique makes sure I have everything I need, I arrive knowing that on check...

I'm used to going to 5 star hotels. Not complaining but this was an interesting stay. First 21 floors r Marriott. Floors 22-25 Ritz. No lobby. Room nice size and of Ritz quality. Cozy bed n nice room amenities. But bathroom was more than odd. Sink area was tiny. Only one person can fit d/t doors of shower/tub n toilet...

I stayed at the RC Los Angeles for 4 nights. My experience there was somewhat disappointing - compared to some other RC's I have stayed at around the world. First off - I never received a check in email that gives me the option of checking in online the day prior to arriving to avoid any delays upon checking in....

My second stay here at the Ritz-Carlton. The location, staff and property is impressive yet again. Staying partially during the week and weekend I got to witness the staff during insanely busy and very slow times as the business guests departed. You can tell a great deal about any business by how they interact with their guests/customers during the rush...

We had a great, modern room with a beautiful view of the mountains and the Hollywood sign. It is a boutique hotel connected to a giant renaissance. We had use of the club lounge which was one of the best club lounges I have been to. If you want to you could eat all of your meals at the lounge....

Me and my family booked for 6 nights stay at The Ritz-Carlton through Expedia. We were hospitably greeted by staff during check-in and were given complimentary glasses of champagne for each of us. The check-in process was quick and efficient as well as the valet service. Our room was on the sixth floor and it was really spacious for two...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
