This hotel stays true to its two star rating. Nothing that impressive about it. The room was clean but smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana. There was no pool, and the continental breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was a place to sleep.
Lots of spaces in parking lot. Reliable wifi. Rooms were cleaned every day. Zero issues. In a good location with a Walgreens and other late night food options close by. My new go-to LA hotel whenever I come back!

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback!
Don’t expect anything else. The staff is apathetic- not rude, but also not inviting. The rooms are mostly clean but I get the feeling that if I had a black light I would not have slept in the room.

Rooms are nice. Newly remodeled. Breakfast is a true continental ... no frills. Breakfast begins at 7:30 and no coffee until 7:30. Okay for an overnight stay. If you're looking for a no frills one night stay, then go for it.

Colony is great in order to visit Universal Studios. Bus can take you there. For the other theme parks, stay closer. Use latouristcom to find Metro transportation planning and much helpful info. With a group of 15, renting a van is best. Look up Dollar, Budget, etc. for renting. Call or email one of the hotels to see what they say. Info is free. You can use it for short trips to eat or shop for water and snacks in the area since park food is expensive. Do internet research on Google map to see what's within the area. Luck!
