I visited the hotel long time back but still remember it as a grand old place to be. It was costly and spacious and needed a lot of work renovation wise. The location is central and the hotel does have a long history but needs to offer good quality lodging and service as well.

I moved out my nice apt due to domestic vioence and found myself calling 211 Los Angeles for assistance but all the shelters were full, having just a limited income of EDD unemployment I was looking for a cheap hotel to stay at. If your looking for a place to end your life then this is the place. My wife and I stayed there as a low cost last resort. It's not a HOTEL in the modern sense of the word. It's just a place to shack up until you can find a better place to live. It's no frills in every sense...
