Worst hotel in Hollywood. Staff was so rude. When someone asks a question please be polite and kind. When a guest says they found something don’t ignore it. The gentleman didn’t even go to check my room. He was rude. I found three cockroaches and food in the refrigerator. Skip this hotel please.

Very friendly service by Pil. Rooms are clean and at a good price-performance ratio. The location was ideal for us. Parking is cheaper when you pay at the hotel, than using the parking app. We felt well and would stay here again.

The Hotel Hollywood is comfortable and convenient. It is a few minutes walk from Hollywood Boulevard and all of the attractions there. There is a CVS on the corner, a Trader Joe's just down the road and Amoeba Records very close by. It is an affordable place to stay in a same feeling area. The best thing was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and friendly. They were all lovely.

Do not stay at this property. They are crooks and will rip you off. I am a very clean person and always picks up behind myself. This hotel charge me $30 for sheets and $20 for towels at checkout just because I use them…literally. I know I have to go to my bank to get my money back. As a hotel how do you charge someone for using the amenities & items that they provide!?? Big crooks. The room smelled funny and made me feel as though I was staying at a motel 6! You’re better off going somewhere else. WARNING-BOOK ELSEWHERE

A shady, trainwreck of mismanagement. DO NOT BOOK THIS DIVE through hotel.com, Expedia, Travelocity etc. I made this mistake and they cancelled me not days or hours before check in but when I arrived and had already paid $30 for overnight parking nearby. Darlene the manager claimed there was an emergency but would not elaborate. I did hear here tell another guest the water was off but would be restored in two hours. She also checked in guests that arrived after us so it became clear to me they bumped us for guests that booked direct or after we did and paid more. Darlene tried to refer us to another dump of a hotel but a quick look at the reviews let me know I didn't want to spend nearly two hundred bucks to stay there so I called Hotel.com seeking a better remedy. That call took me an hour and while standing outside I noticed numerous cockroaches on the sidewalk and exterior walls. The window AC units also sounded and looked anemic so between visible bugs and the shoddy run down appearance I probably dodged a bullet but the inconvenience was a pain and Darlene the manager was rude, unhelpful, and incompetent in every way. I will applaud Hotels.com for upgrading us without charge to a much nicer location and added a $100 gift certificate for the inconvenience so I came out for the better, but common decency still leads me to warn others about this dump of a Hollywood Hotel and Darlene a woman clearly not equipped to manage anything except perhaps the horse of cockroaches swarming around this joint. I never saw the interior of a room but I saw enough to have a good idea what I would have found.

It was a fantastic plan for a weekend away to LA from our destination-las vegas-. Our experience it was A WALK OF SHAME!!! We ve reserved a room with booking.com and we had plans to visit hollywood that evening and the following day ( another reservations made for sunday). We drove from las vegas to los angeles and we saw things around along the beach and when we thought we were ready for check in at around 6:30 pm nobody was at the front desk; then we decided to look for a parking slot and after getting our head around for an hour we ve parked ( they don t have parking). When we have arrived we have been told that my name is not on the list. At arrival we have been told by the “night manager” that the reservation has not gone through. He gave us his phone to ask them as it looks it was not the first time when in happens. We contacted Booking.com explained the situation and they even talked in btw themselves manager -booking agent and things got nasty; the manager said it happens all the time blaiming on booking. He has been asked why they took the money from the account if they are fully booked and the manager did not want to listen and hang up on the lady. He could not care less he had a list with written name and my booking was made at least 3 days prior to our arrival. I was petrified. He showed no empathy for our situation. The cruel fact where will we sleep …where? On the streets? Not impressed him. We could not find any hotel room in our budget and we drove back to las vegas. Overall It was terrible, disappointing, tiring -we have put out lives at risk for driving nearly 10h in total and all the plans, bookings for that weekend vanished. It s a disgrace and something like this should never happen to anyone! I would not recommend this hotel and his management it looks they have a “history” of overbooking and leaving ppl on the streets. Stay safe!

Never stay here!!!! After staying here I filled out a survey on the place. It is noisy and the door alarm kept going off. Room was smelly and old.Parking is to blocks away and expensive. The homeless were camped on the sidewalks in tents. All this isn't the biggest problem. I went to check out. I walked into the office. The clerk (who I found out later is the manager) was having a conversation with the housekeeper. I waited a couple minutes and wasn't acknowledged. The clerk was complaining to the housekeeper about work. She says to the housekeeper, "I would effing fire all of them but, I'm just cold hearted. After the housekeeper left the clerk turns to me and asked if I was checking out. Her entire attitude changed. She was sickening sweet and fake. I just received a phone call from her. She wanted to know what happened and didn't say who she was. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I started to tell her then, I recognized her voice. I asked if she was the person that helped me. Again, she said yes. I told her she should know the problem. I told her exactly what happened. She told me she didn't think it happened because she didn't remember it. I told her I wouldn't make it up. I asked to speak to a different manager. She told me there wasn't one. I asked who the owner was and she HUNG UP ON ME!! Unbelievable!! She has a boss but, wouldn't tell me who it was. The absolute worst service I've ever had!!

Absolutely the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. Elevators didn't work, toilets didn't work. When I got in, the toilet wouldn't flush and there was poo with tissue paper in it. I stayed there for five days and I had to keep calling to fix it. They didn't kn lock before entering. It got to a point where I had to tell them I would call a health authority. The toilet continued to have a slow leak. It was absolutely disgusting. The lady downstairs (Dena) was argumentative and all she didn't show any regard for my concerns. Before booking the hotel, I also suggest doing some research regarding the area. There is a lot of crime and is NOT safe to walk. Also, the only way you can enter hotel is using a card. This should reflect how dangerous it is. The patio doors didn't work. The lights didn't work and also the pillows were all mismatched. So gross

You must be looking out for this hotel that is located on a slope and once you drive up, though the office is to the left, there is mostly handicap parking. The hotel is older and only the vending machine by the office/check-in is functional. If your room is away, you may want to pick up a drink first. The room was spacious, but very dated and there was no coffee pot in the room. All was bare minimal.
