I booked this hostel through hostel world, but unfortunately had to cancel due to COVID, hostel world refunded me their part (even though it was a non refundable booking). I have tried multiple times to contact the property to discuss their policy during this time and have had no response. Once being told that a manager would be in contact with me the next day, but I have heard nothing. This is very unprofessional behaviour, ignoring your customers and is unacceptable. Terrible customer service - avoid at all costs.

My daughter and I loved our private room. It had a full size bed and a bunk bed. A kitchen and private bathroom (#209). We stayed 3 nights and I like the fact that we could get drinks cold/frozen in full size fridge. They had dishes. You can keep your leftovers and reheat in microwave. My daughter loved vending machines and the computer room downstairs She likes playing roblux. It’s not luxurious like expensive bedding and decor. But to say the truth it was better than the flamingo and downtowner in Las Vegas . Not decor wise but we loved the computer room and microwave and fridge. Flamingo has a small fridge that’s it and the downtowner didn’t have a small fridge :(

The worst experiencie I had travelling in USA. First: location - that point of hollywood boulevard is terrible. Far for everyting, and necessary to hire a car or long journey taxis. Then, the structure: the rooms are anormally small, uncomfortable, hot and with no convenience. The social area of the hotel only exists if you enjoy rap on its loudest volume. The frontdoor men are rude and on my last day they took all my stuff from the bedroom and put them on reception saying it was after 12:00 (I got the hotel at 12:15 for checkout). Some itens disappeared. would never recommend it for no one.

We booked a private room and enjoyed the garden/bar more than often to chill out after long walks in Hollywood. It has a cosy and loose atmosphere. Breakfast is included. Simple but perfect - bagels, toast, creamcheese and they offer free tea and coffee all day. The room was fine and most of all it was clean. If you are up for Melrose, Hollywood Blvd and Sunset, enjoy your stay here. Also they organise pubcrawls, movienights and stuff.

Both this hostel and the brother hostel over in Fairfax are seriously cool places. Came here as a 19 year old with no plans looking to have a good time, a good time was had! Medical weed patient and was able to medicate whenever needed in quiet areas! No one ever told me off and the feeling was great. Nice breakfast, great kitchens and most big rooms have a kitchen inside which is way better than the Fairfax one!
