Amazing hotel and even more amazing staff! If you want to have a unique experience where you’re made to feel like the only ones there...this is the place to stay! We enjoyed the room, security and privacy of the staff, room service was perfect as was our time at the pool!
I was there last week with my husband and daughter. We stayed here a few times when we drop off our daughter for college at UCLA . The hotel has never disappointed us however the Culina restaurant service is subpar. Jerry ,the assistant manager, at Four Seasons gives us a warm and friendly vibe. He sent us cookies upon arrival , upgraded our room and he always seemed sincere when asking us how we are doing. Not the typical snooty personnel you encounter in high end hotels , restaurant and shops . ( I never understood this behavior). Jerry does not exude that attitude but the hostess at Culina did last Sunday 1/31. The place was empty at 10am when we wanted to have breakfast. She gave us an attitude for not making reservations. Nevertheless, she gave us a table but specifically told us we have to vacate at 11ish. We agreed to get the table but she gave us an impression that she was doing us a favor! When we left the restaurant at 11am, the place was still empty!! We didn’t understand the rush and the attitude!! Anyways, we love staying at Four seasons at LA and will come back as long as the personnel like Jerry will make us feel welcomed with a friendly attitude. …
Best hotel! 5 stars all the way through. I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 times and will anytime I’m in LA. Amazing food staff and food. Best hotel in LA in my opinion. Highly recommend to anyone. Stay here....!
My wife and I visited for two nights in September. During our stay the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the pool and the food was very good. The hotel hallways are beautiful. However, the building and rooms are somewhat outdated. More importantly, I failed to properly research the location of the hotel. I believed it was near Rodeo Drive when in fact the location is much more residential and took about 25 to 30 minutes to walk to Rodeo Drive. My wife and I are avid walkers but were surprised by the distance and residential neighborhood. Also, several buildings across from the hotel were in poor repair and very unattractive. Admittedly, I should have been able to recognize my mistake and chosen the better located Four Season’s Beverly Wilshire. We’re Four Seasons fans and the experience was consistent with Four Season’s standards. However, if you’re not familiar with the area take a careful look at the location.…
Lovely room with wraparound balcony, comfortable bed, but the bathrooms could use a nip and tuck. I love the location and had a good night’s sleep, but I wouldn’t be opposed to some in-room updates. Worth a visit when staying in BH.
