This place was DISCUSTING. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was filthy. I accidentally spilled some peroxide on the bathroom floor, and the grout bubbled for over an hour. There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower let alone, room to move. Maids did not replenish toilet paper, we had to get our own. We didn't even have a...

We stayed at the Mayfair Hotel on a Friday night to party and spend the night after clubbing at 2 local clubs. The hotel lobby was great. The service and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a nearby 7-11 store. I recommend this hotel if you're there to party in LA. They provide you with a ride service...

The lobby is beautiful and obviously restored, the overall property has some lovely historic charm. It is a 1926 hotel though so many of the facilities haven't seen replacement in a few years. The staff was helpful and accommodating and we had no challenges with check-in or billing. Our suite was interesting because it was obviously two smaller rooms that...

Wife and I stayed here because it was close to the Staples Center. We had tickets to a Lakers game and wanted a hotel that was close enough to walk from. The room was tiny and very old. The bedding was clean which is all we really needed it for. Didn't even use the shower. Also not in a very...

I travel a lot and have stayed in bad hotels before, but this is competing for worse ever. Hallway did not even have flooring. Rooms look nothing like the photos.. Very outdated and dirty. The amount of dirty under and around the bed is a joke. Wallpaper is coming off the walls just like the floor molding. I would not...

The lobby is fabulous, and looks like a movie set from the 1960's! White piano, black leather furniture, columns, arches and marble accents are stunning. The accommodations are simple, but clean. Staff was very professional, and genuinely pleasant. The room was very small, the beds were adequate ( a little uncomfortable, but functional) and the bathroom teeny tiny...but the price...

Good location in the downtown, food stores nearby. Old-fashioned hotel and dirty carpets, but spacious rooms, cofee-makers, helpful staff. Would appreciate at least a mutual microwave or fridge, but there is none. Clean, calm place, affordable comfort.

“The rooms are clean, updated and a little tight on the 5th floor, almost had a midtown Manhattan feel. My shower was so small I had to turn the water off to soap up, and the rest of the bathroom gets even smaller ”
