Location!! Metro and Starbucks are an escalator away. Shopping places and whole food are around the corner. Please improve the housekeeping quality! We stayed for 9 nights, and after 6 nights, the housekeeper didn't clean the room properly -- only 1 bed was made, not vacuuming the carpeted floor, not clearing the trash bin, found some trash on the bathroom floor, not changing the dirty drinking glasses, etc. We had to wait for at least 15 minutes to get someone to our room for cleaning and others.

Had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles . Although they are still not up to full service levels (lobby bar and lounge still closed) service was outstanding. A quick note to them prior to check in sheraton as we were upgraded to a King Suite (I'm Platinum). They gave us coupons for breakfast in their restaurant for each morning and even allowed us to use the value ($16) towards items not 'included' (continental breakfast). At breakfast, a manager came by and we chatted. Later that day, hanging on our door handle was a bag with a few goodies and a very nice note thanking us for our stay. DTLA restaurants are also starting to open up. The location of the hotel is also great for using the Metro to get around, as there is a station just below the hotel. 2nd time staying here and it won't be the last!

Hotel has a good location, 2 mins walk to metro station and there’s a small mall beside (with macy’s and eateries). We had a free upgrade to deluxe room and the room is very spacious. They do have a list of amenities that you can call the guest service to request for (e.g shaver, microwave, shoe horn, etc), they will deliver to your room.

They also provide rewards if you request not to clean your room daily. My husband request for free bottle of water daily and the housekeeper gave him 4.

Great customer service and everyone were very polite and efficient.

I am a Bonvoy Ambassador member. If I have to write all the flaws and faults with this property , I would have to write a novel. To keep it brief. From the outset... we arrived and when we told the doorman we would not be taking valet at $52+tax a night he wouldn’t allow us to even unload our 8 pieces of baggage from the suv. He was all pulled up.
At check in , I received no acknowledgment for my status. I was not offered my amenity to choose from. I used a suite night upgrade so this was granted however , even in the suites they don’t provide sanitary bag, shower cap, toot brush kit , shave kit and mine didn’t even had shampoo or soap or hand towels. When I asked downstairs I was told I could not have service Cos I checked in the same day. I explained that I didn’t want service, I merely wanted basic essentials that were not provided in the first place. Obviously no pre inspection was done. My kids had a separate room and same story. I booked over a month ago and they said they could not allocate the rooms on same floor.
When I asked for a turn down service they told me the hotel was “going green” and does not do turn down for this reason! I was astonished. I didn’t realise that to tidy a bed and possibly close curtains contributes to killing the environment.
The sofas were filthy in between the cushions and the cheap toilet paper almost always clogged the loo too.

The club floor was an absolute nightmare. They had a policy of first come first serve even through they clearly stipulated times for services. When anyone would ask for food to be replenished some staff would be so rude they would say we came too late even if we were an hour before closing.

We were there six nights and after 4 it got so bad that eventually because we complained they said we could go down to the restaurant and have breakfast but instead of being apologetic , we were told harshly that only the continental applied to us. For all the inconveniences caused to us , I would think staff would be a little more polite.

There were so many other issues we had with hygiene etc. unwashed cutlery etc but too much to get into but I will end by saying that even upon check out we were put under pressure to move our car even though we were just packing a boot. Most rude and annoying.

Lastly, I’ve never visited a property since possibly becoming gold where I haven’t received a welcome note or amenity in my room upon arrival. I believe I’ve spent around 130 nights with the brand in 2019 alone and I received no acknowledgement or favour AT ALL for my ambassador status. We were there on Christmas Eve and Christmas night and the kids didn’t even receive a small token of candy or a biscuit at night. Felt like we were in some communist property. Cutting down on costs are one thing but this Sheraton Grand gave us a most miserable stay taking things to an all time low and have ensured that I will never stay at another sheraton in the usa ever again. Unfortunately I have no photos to add as there was nothing worth photographing on the property AT ALL.

We had a 3 night stay here. Booked two rooms for two families and requested rooms to be closeby. When we arrived, we got the end units right across from each other, so that was great. The lobby and the rooms were spacious and clean. Loved the location as well, right smack in DTLA with shops and restaurants and Metro nearby.

Valet parking was 52/night which was crazy, but I guess normal for DTLA area. And they seem to get overwhelmed easily. Had to wait for car retrieval or other cars to move out of the way each time I went down to the Valet level.

Also, on the day of checkout, there were 300 other rooms also checking out as well or something. They have four elevators, and it took close to 45 minutes and finally taking the service elevator for us to actually get down to the lobby because it's just jam packed and nothing was stopping at our floor.

Oh, yeah, and also the breakfast downstairs charged $5 or $6 for coffee or juice, EACH. Of course they don't tell you that when they first offer it to you.

I started here a week for work and won’t be back. I thought it would be amazing, it’s a Sheraton Grand, but was sadly disappointed.

First off I arrived early as that was the only flight time available and so arrived prior to check in. I knew I would have to wait for a room (they had been fully booked the night before), which was fine, except for the numerous people who arrived after me and got rooms before me. After 18 hours of travel I really needed a shower!

My first room was dirty with something very unpleasant left behind in a drawer that house kneeling clearly didn’t open to clean. I requested a room change which was accommodated but interestingly it took the manager 10 mins to get hold of the front desk staff, a good sign of their efficiency. When they helped me move we had to take the service lift as their lifts are so incredibly slow!

I was promised a free upgrade to another room either later that day or the next in way of compensation as well as some complimentary drinks (yet another hotel with no mini bar), but these failed to materialize. When questioned, staff denied all knowledge of this until I mentioned the managers name who helped me move. But still no upgrade or drinks were forthcoming.

The lighting in the rooms is terrible. Lots of us stayed here and all had the same problem, so it wasn’t just my rooms. It’s too dull to read by comfortably. I get mood lighting but this is extreme.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, above a metro station, in the heart of shops and restaurants which is good because there is no lobby shop), but based on room comfort, lighting and cleanliness it’s a hard pass from me

This is what the bonvoy experience is all about! Came in town for the weekend for a concert at staples with a couple of friends. Room was ready at check in, valet was convenient considering the location. If your not willing to pay the 50 some bucks for valet you’ll end up paying almost the same for daily parking at a lot. Room was clean, well appointed and our view was decent. 2 things that could have been improved- the windows needed a wash on the exterior and we could have used more towels initially. These are minuscule issues that didn’t effect our stay at all. The lobby is gorgeous and the adjacent shopping center is so convenient for last minute shopping or a quick coffee run. The elevators were a bit tricky to work with your key but the added level of security it provides gave us peace of mind. The hotel itself is in a somewhat sketchy area come nightfall. The District restaurant was great for a lunch bite, our bartender Sandro went above and beyond to accommodate us and provided excellent service! Another gal at the restaurant was helpful I believe her name was Tiffany. We enjoyed the deck on the third floor, excellent views to enjoy a drink! Overall great experience, we are already planning another stay here!

Had another great stay for holiday weekend. Once again Lizette took care of us in advance with a lovely upgrade as a Marriott Titanium status guest. Because of this great service from her team, we've decided to book our wedding room block here for our guests as I know they will receive great service and be able to take advantage of the many walkable restaurants in the area.

My previous review has more details comments - but again the club lounge was good for evening snacks and breakfast in the lounge also tasty. Looking forward to staying here again.

Checked in 9 minutes before room service ended on the Dec 29th and the front desk person put in an order for food for us since we hadn’t eaten and travelled all day. But then we got to our room and the elevator noise was unbearable. All the king suites are by the elevators. If you stay here don’t get one. We didn’t sleep the whole time. The beds are way too soft for me. I had a back ache every morning. Location was great, and we walked all over. Don’t think I’d stay here again as they were super busy and some of the staff got rude. I’m a band Mom and the UW Band stayed here, so that’s why I did too.

Booked a king bedded room for 5 nights direct with Sheraton. Check-in went quickly and we were given a room on the 17th floor. It was a nicely laid out room with counter space, luggage, racks, complimentary bottled water in the room daily, and very good Wi-Fi. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. The fitness centre that we use of was very good. The room was impeccably, clean and housekeeping was excellent. The valet service was slow, dropping off the vehicle, but the fellows working in the Parkade when picking up the vehicle were very efficient.

The negatives of the hotel/room was the air conditioning. We could cool the room, however, in the middle of the night it was as if the system was being overrode as the room warmed. This made for a warm room to sleep in.

Another negative is the sink and tap in the bathroom. What design team thought it would be a good idea to place a short spotted tap with the water flow approximately 1 1/2 inches from the edge of the bowl to be a good idea is beyond me. It made washing hands very difficult. Also, I appreciated the Gilchrist and Soames amenities. However, the choice of “warm oak” is a very masculine scented choice. Great for men, not so much for women!!
Valet parking is $54 a night plus tax, and there is a destination fee of $25 a day. It adds up.

Hello, I wouldn't try to contact an accountant, but instead call the front desk directly. NOT the 800 number, but the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles direct. You could google the number easily. I believe they could pull up your invoice immediately and probably email it to you. Good luck!!
