Not only do they charge $5 for a candy bar from the guest room's fridge, they attach a tax and "re-stocking" fee of $1.27. They're shameless It's an old building with dimly lit halls and a soot-covered exterior.

Best hotel in downtown Los Angeles unless you are willing to spend $800 per night! Very friendly staff. The hotel has a quiet elegance about it. I really enjoy eating in Noe Bar because of the very classy piano nightly and the option of ordering from either the bar or restaurant menu. It's very comforting after a long day of...

Every member of the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. I would stay here anytime that I'm in L.A. The whole experience was Wonderful. The rooms are beautiful but if you get double beds, they are really small so for a party of 3, it was uncomfortable to have 2 people in...

The whole experience at this hotel was fabulous, we are going back the end of the month, because it was so good. We had room service from the Noe restaurant and the food was fabulous, next time we go, I will get two orders of their beet salad; it was outstanding!!!

The Omni is clearly and unashamedly a hotel that is geared up for the business traveller - which makes sense as it is a stones throw from many of Downtown LA's big financial institutions. The hotel is situated within walking distance of most of downtown, although there isn't a great deal to see! Our room was large and clean but...

I stayed at this Omni for the first time based upon Omni's reputation and my personal experience at other properties. The location was a bit further from th Convention Center's south hall but doable in the early mornings to walk, not so much late in afternoon when warmer. Very nice accomodating staff, the front Bell men were very curtious and...

The location is close to everything in downtown. The hotel is very clean however for an upscale hotel I would have expected to have better amenities such as a bigger pool than just a lap pool and at least a spa. The restaurant selection, well there isn't many to choose to from.

Front facing Grand Central Market and Pershing Square via by a flight of steps. We could walk to Little Tokyo too. The hotel is classy from the lobby to the room. Our room is big and...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
