My partner stayed here for two nights while attending a conference. There was a stain on the carpet upon check in. After we left, they falsely blamed us for the stain and billed our credit card $500! We’ve been following up for days with multiple phone calls but no resolution.

At the front desk I met Bernadette and Kelsey. Kind, accommodating, and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better price or experience! Thank you to both of them. They 150% made the trip! Absolutely gems of human beings and they deserve a raise.

Let me be very clear. This mistake was MY mistake. You can judge whether it was appropriately handled. I accidentally booked a 3 night stay for last week. It was intended for this weekend. When i received an email asking for me to review the property before i had arrived i knew something was wrong. I called and asked if they would be kind enough to offer consideration for MY error. Nelson at the front desk was quick to accommodate suggesting he would just credit me for the missed three nights and book for this weekend. I subsequently received a call from Curtis, the manager who told me he "could not" allow that as it is a no refund rate. He explained that he could have filled the room for the Friday night. the inference being, they would not have sold the room for the other two nights. At a minimum, i would expect not only an act of decency but smart business that they offer me the other two nights back. Again, no cost to them. The property looks quite nice so i can only assume that the 4.1 rating is a function of how the property is operated. Not a great customer experience. I will be heading to 1 hotel who could not have been more accommodating after hearing my story. I seemed to leave them jawdropped at how it was handled. A sizable loss for me, caused by my mistake. An unfriendly management team, not looking to be helpful.

We stayed there during the pandemic and the stay was absolutely marvelous. The care and attention during this troubling time I suspect carries over to today. It was outstanding. The staff as well as the accommodations are both superb. There was nothing that we needed that they hadn’t anticipated. I’d love to go back on a future trip.

This used to be a great hotel 10 years ago, but it's all run down now. Bare concrete floors in parts of the hotel (not the fancy kind of concrete, more like a renovation project), no more accessories or decoration in rooms, holes in the wall, crumbling paint, old carpets, peeling paint and wood in bathroom, loose faucet, old mattress. Very disappointed. The price is steep, and parking alone is $ 50. Yet this is barely interstate motel quality. In dire need of a renovation!

I wouldn’t stay here again!! I payed for the executive suite, the linen smelled like urine. The hallway had a stench. Valet is no where to be found. When you need your car. The rooms have no microwave. The bar is never open. Everyone gives you the run around about simple things. The reception Donald very rude, answered the phone with an attitude immediately. Accused me of calling multiple times. Valet said I would receive my invoice with a hour of checking out. I called to make sure everything was closed out. Donald answered the phone and I quote I’ll close it out when I’m ready. I left the premises at 3:45am I called at 6am nothing had been closed out. I’ll also be reaching out to corporate about the unprofessionalism.

We arrived at this hotel exhausted after a long flight from Hong Kong. When the taxi pulled up, three bellman sat at the front desk looking at us disinterested as we walked in with our baggage. We were given a room in the 'second building' which we were told was 50 metres away albeit up a steep hill. I suggest the check in clerk - who could not have been more disinterested in anything we asked - be given a lesson in measuring distance. The bottom line is that the second building is fine if you have a car and don't mind staying in a motel. If you don't have a car, it sucks as you rely on a so called shuttle service with no food or refreshments in that building. We were shuttled up by one of the bellman but in true fashion, dropped at the door, given directions to the room and more or less told to take care of our own luggage. We had booked a Junior Suite which is apparently what we were given. The website states most rooms have private patios - this one did not and given that it overlooked the motorway, I would guess it is some time since the windows were opened. It certainly did not smell fresh. When we called the front desk to complain, the person we spoke to told us that as far as he was concerned we had received what we had reserved. He had a distinct attitude issue and was not going to help. He was adamant that we could not move room that night and perhaps (but probably not) could be changed in the morning. The call did not end well. I called back about 20 minutes later and this time he agreed to move us to a lower rate room which he assured me had a balcony. What he forgot to mention was the the balcony it had looked over a ravine full of what appeared to be discarded balcony furniture and that there were workmen digging a drain or something which involved banging before 7am. In short the 'new' room had no tooth glasses in the bathroom (two paper cups at the coffee machine - take your choice what you use them for), no robes and tired furniture. There were two beds - I found them ok. My wife did not. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken and you could not fill the sink with water. This morning we found alternative accommodation and moved out. The biggest surprise this morning is that the clerk on the front desk - who to her credit, took our comments (and my anger) with dignity as apparently there were no members of management on site - then offered us a refurbished room. Go figure as less than 12 hours earlier we were told unequivocally that a room change was probably not possible. Some positives - the food in the bar last night and at breakfast this morning was more than edible. It was good. The website shows a gleaming property with lots of talk of private patios and other amenities in the room. It is not! It is tired, run down and in need of attention. The hotel is being refurbished but there is no mention of this on the website. It may get better but for the moment avoid it at all costs

I checked into my room and was met with such a terrible smell that I turned around and checked out. It was like a sharp mildew smell that made my throat hurt. They still charged me for a full night stay. Rooms are awful too. Dark, drab, old carpet. It’s sad.

Good location, but that’s it. This tired property is anything but luxe. The room is bleak (see photos) and smelled; internet was painfully slow; valets were unresponsive so we had to walk down and up the hill from the second building in the rain to get to/from breakfast; restaurant was understaffed for breakfast (do we really have to ask 3 times for butter for our toast, and for water?); shower barely had enough water pressure to function; and there was literally no quiet space (we asked) to meet with colleagues. There are no snacks and no kiosk for sundries. For all of these pleasures you also get charged $100/room resort fee (which also includes their “business center,” which is a table in the corner of the lobby.
