Sheraton Universal Hotel has just completed a $25 million renovation. The extensive renovation or our hotel in Universal City, California encompassed a complete refurbishment of our 461 guest rooms and suites in order to create a modern, sleek, minimalist ambiance in a soft warm palette encompassing camel tones with touches of yellow and gray. The California’s Restaurant had a redo of its floor and wall coverings as well as fabrics. The excitement of Southern California awaits you at Sheraton Universal Hotel, where we roll out the red carpet to make you feel at home. Situated next to Universal Studios Hollywood, our hotel plays host to musicians, actors and other entertainment industry stars; the Hollywood Bowl is just two miles away, and downtown Los Angeles is within easy reach via the Red Line Subway. Sample flavorful dishes at California's, our on-site restaurant, a vodka cocktail at In the Mix.

This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are a decent size and the bathrooms are clean and well kept. The restaurant, the Californians, had very nice food options. I recommend at least two nights at the hotel to enjoy the hotel and Universal Studios and the city walk area. The walk

Recently, my work took me to Los Angeles for two nights. I ended up staying at the Sheraton Universal Hotel right next to Universal Studios and the theme park. My plane was delayed for 6 hours, so I ended-up at the hotel at 3:15 AM. The front desk was staffed and I was able

We came to LA for a spring break trip and added Universal Studios to our agenda. We did a half day at Hollywood area tours and a full day at Universal Studios. (One day at Universal is all you need, BTW). The Sheraton was a great choice! It is walking distance to the park

The location of this hotel is great if you want to go to universal studios or the city walk. The city walk is all chain restaurants and souvenir shops. If you want a place that is close to interesting restaurants or anything like that, this is not the place. It is a hotel for

A person in our group stayed in the area longer after the rest of us had checked out and were on our way to the airport. He left his bags at the concierge and picked them up much later in the day.

This is a safe area and close walking distance to Studio walk with many attractions and places to shop & eat to include Universal Studios during the day., I walk at night as well, however to be safer you should probably walk with another person or walk alone during daylight hours.

Online is the best option. Our family splurged a couple years ago and went with the VIP. Yes, it was really pricey, but we don't regret it. Had the best time, got to go on every ride and never had to wait in line. We figured we were going to pay a lot of money for the park anyway, and it was a one-time family event. We had never been before then, and we may not get to go back for years to come. The kids will never forget the great memories from our day there. My kids made fun of me, I had to close my eyes on the ride in the castle...scary stuff in there!!! Have fun! Try the warm butter beer on a cold day (or night).

I'll do better, I have VIDEO. I stayed there this past November. They won't allow video links here...so just search YouTube: Sheraton Universal City – Los Angeles (Review). Stay at The Hilton right next door. Comparatively same price – FAR better quality.

Only to Universal, there are bus tours that may offer transportation to Disneyland but can be pricey. I would suggest renting a car a couple of days if possible or Uber
